Mexican catering in Town Row, served fresh
Truck and trailer service usually suits around 50 to 400 guests. Larger festivals and smaller parties are looked at case by case, so let us know how many you expect. It works well for fundraisers and school events and weddings and evening receptions, with tacos, quesadillas and loaded nachos.
In a small place like Town Row, events are typically in a garden, a field or a nearby hall. Country lanes, long drives and gates are fine if we know about them, and soft ground after rain is worth mentioning. Guests are served from our food truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan the service around your numbers.

How the day works
Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we plan a spot with space for people to queue. Rain doesn’t generally stop us serving, though guests will want somewhere covered to stand or sit. Planning an evening event in Town Row? Sunset is around 8:50pm in late May, 9:15pm at midsummer and 7:05pm in late September. Festoon lights or floodlights help once it gets dark.
- It begins with the basics: your date, venue, guest numbers and dietary needs.
- We suggest a sample menu and send a quote for your event.
- Together we confirm where the truck or trailer will park, plus power and water.
- We arrive, set up and cook to order, with salsas and guacamole made fresh.
- After service, we clear away and leave the spot tidy.

Town Row: your questions answered
Could you serve our guests after a service at The Parish Church of St Denys?
Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.
Can you bring a truck or trailer to venues in the High Weald National Landscape?
Yes, though some venues in protected landscapes have extra rules; ask your venue. We will follow the site rules.
Are plates and napkins included?
Please ask us. Let us know what you already have, and we’ll set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.
How does mobile Mexican catering work?
We bring our food truck or trailer to your venue, cook to order and serve tacos, burritos and more from the hatch. You can also have a build-your-own taco bar.
Do you do a drinks bar?
Our drinks bar can be added to any booking, with margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. We will check the licensing with you before the day.
What access do you need?
Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, and the venue’s agreement. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.
How many guests can you serve?
That depends on the menu and the service time, but around 50 to 400 guests is the usual range. For anything outside that, ask us.
What does Mexican catering cost?
We quote for each event, based on what you actually need. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas and we’ll reply with a quote.
Organising for someone else?
Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.
If you are organising for someone else, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we will work directly with you and the venue. It keeps things simple.

DIY taco night versus a caterer
Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Planning for every diet
We take diets and allergies seriously. Here’s how you can help:

- Ask the venue whether food trucks are allowed
- Give us separate numbers for children
- Mention any other caterers or courses
We can still serve from the hatch if it rains, though guests need somewhere under cover to eat.
