Who books Mexican catering in Wexham Court?

You do not need a kitchen, so it works in gardens, fields and grounds without catering facilities.

If you’re planning any of these, we can help:

  • Anniversaries and engagements
  • Summer garden parties
  • Weddings and evening receptions
  • Family celebrations

For a christening or wedding at a church such as Parish Church of St Mary, a food truck at a garden or venue nearby is an easy way to feed everyone.

Choosing a Mexican caterer

Mexican catering in Wexham Court, from our food truck or trailer

Food from a truck or trailer feels relaxed. Guests come up to the hatch, chat while they wait and take something hot back to their seats, which suits informal events. For wedding breakfasts and evening food and school fairs and fundraisers, we can serve a build-your-own taco bar, burrito bowls and tacos for your guests.

For a rural spot like Wexham Court, fields and drives need a little planning: gate widths, soft ground and the distance from the road all matter. Power and water may be limited, so we confirm the arrangements with you. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.

FAQs for Wexham Court

Could you serve our guests after a service at Parish Church of St Mary?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Which station is closest to Wexham Court?

Guests can use Slough station, about 1.4 miles south-west of Wexham Court.

What if it rains?

The truck or trailer serves in the rain, though guests need a covered place to eat.

Do you cater for big events?

That depends on the event. As a guide, it is around 50 to 400 guests; tell us your numbers and we will plan around them.

How many guests can you serve?

It depends on the menu and how long service runs, but around 50 to 400 guests is the usual range. For anything outside that, ask us.

Do you cook on site?

Food is cooked to order in our food truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

What’s on the menu?

Tacos, build-your-own taco bars, burritos, burrito bowls, loaded nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. See our sample menu.

Do you do parties at home?

That depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Send us a picture and we will talk it through.

Why choose Mexican catering in Wexham Court?

Cold buffets are easy, but the food sits out. Tacos and burritos are made to order and served hot. Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, because it needs no venue kitchen. Ask us for a quote.

Step by step

Once service is over, we pack down and clear our own area. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. A December event in Wexham Court will be in the dark from about 3:55pm, so a well-lit spot for the queue makes a big difference. At midsummer, the light holds until around 9:25pm.

  1. Share the date, the venue and how many are coming.
  2. We plan a menu that covers every diet.
  3. We check the route in and where the truck or trailer will stand.
  4. Guests order at the hatch or build their own at the taco bar.
  5. We clear our serving area when everyone is fed.

Before we arrive

  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Let us know who to talk to on the day

Should I do it myself?

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Prices and what affects them

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • The length of service
  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • Whether you need disposables

The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

Getting an accurate quote

For a quote, it helps to have:

  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground
  • The venue or postcode
  • A picture of where we’d park

Each quote is tailored to your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we will check availability at the same time.

Popular choices

Quesadillas

Tortillas filled with melted cheese and a filling, toasted until crisp, cut into wedges.

Loaded nachos

Tortilla chips piled with cheese, a filling, salsa, guacamole and toppings.

Catering for every guest

  • Let us know about any other food at the event

On the day, we arrive in good time to park up and get ready. Someone from the venue just needs to point us to the agreed spot.
