How our Mexican bar hire works in Barford

Our Mexican drinks bar serves margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas, with bar staff to serve your guests. It works on its own or alongside our food. For big birthday celebrations and themed celebrations, we’ll put together a menu of soft drinks, margaritas and Mexican beer and more.

In a rural spot like Barford, drinks can be served from our truck or trailer in a garden, field or by a marquee, given access. Licensing for alcohol is checked with you beforehand. We plan the timings around your day, so service starts when you want it.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Your questions about Mexican bar hire in Barford

Which station is closest to Barford?

Guests can use Haslemere station, about 3.9 miles south-east of Barford.

Do you come out to small places like Barford?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

Can you come to a private house?

Yes, as long as there is access and a level, firm spot. Send us a photo of the access and the space.

What’s on the menu?

Mexican street food and drinks: tacos and build-your-own taco bars, burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. A drinks bar is available too, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

Of course. We can include vegetarian and vegan fillings like black beans or spiced mushrooms.

Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?

We can. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from. Read our taco bar guide.

Can you serve in the rain?

We can serve from the hatch in the rain. Plan cover for guests, such as a marquee or gazebo, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.

Do you come to Barford?

Yes. We cater across London and the South East, and Barford is within our area. To check your date, send a quick message through our quote form.

Mexican bar hire or something else?

A standard bar is fine, but margaritas and aguas frescas give the bar character. Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

Barford: venues, access and licensing

Barford is about 4 miles east of Bordon, in Surrey. Wherever your event is in the GU10 area, we can bring the truck or trailer to you. We cover 395 places across Surrey, from the larger towns to small villages, wherever the truck or trailer can get in. We cater right across the region, from Barford to Guildford (12 miles away).

If the service is at a church such as St John the Evangelist, the bar would be set up at the reception venue rather than the church. For guests coming by train, the nearest station is Haslemere station, about 3.9 miles south-east. An outdoor bar near the Surrey Hills National Landscape, within about 3 miles of Barford, needs firm ground and a way in, plus the right licensing, which we will check with you.

Mexican bar hire in GU10 and GU26 is planned around your venue and access and timings. Streets in the area include Churt Road, Kitts Lane and Hammer Lane, and an event on any of them can work if the truck or trailer can park nearby. How it works

Serving is quick: guests are served at the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. Afterwards we clear our area. A late-September party in Barford loses the light at about 7:05pm, so margaritas after that will be served under lights. In late May, it stays light until about 8:55pm.

  1. We check availability.
  2. We suggest margaritas, beer, aguas frescas and alcohol-free choices.
  3. We confirm power, water and the bar spot.
  4. We set up and serve on cue.
  5. When the bar shuts, we clear away.

How to prepare

  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
  • Share the running order, including any speeches
