Mexican bar hire for your event in Mud Row

The margarita is the star of the bar: tequila, lime and orange liqueur over ice, with or without a salted rim. It suits wedding receptions and evening parties and end-of-year parties, serving soft drinks, agua de jamaica and Mexican beer.

In a rural spot like Mud Row, drinks can be served from our truck or trailer in a garden, field or by a marquee, as long as we can get in. We will check the licensing with you. Timings are planned around your event, whether that is speeches, a lunch break or a festival schedule.

What Mexican bar hire costs

We’ll give you a clear quote. The main things that affect it are:

  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • The length of service
  • What the venue already provides
  • The number of people

Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there is no kitchen to hire. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Good planning starts with a few facts. Try to include:

  • Whether you’d like food, drinks or both

DIY taco night versus a caterer

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.

Planning the bar

To get the most from the bar, it helps to:

  • Tell us how many guests are under 18
  • Plan transport home for guests
  • Serve food alongside the drinks
  • Check how alcohol will be licensed at your venue

Allergen information is available for every drink.

Aguas frescas for children and non-drinkers.

We cater across London and the South East, Kent included. See all areas.

Who handles the licensing?

You will need either the venue’s licence or a Temporary Event Notice. We will talk licensing through with you. See GOV.UK for Temporary Event Notices.

Let us know what’s available on site, such as a supply from the venue near where we’ll park, and we’ll confirm what we need with your quote.

Of course. Mild dishes, quesadillas and nachos can be part of the menu. Include children in your numbers.

Step by step

We get there well before you want to serve, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. Guests come up to order when service opens. A late-September party in Mud Row loses the light at about 7:00pm, so a bar running later in the evening needs lamps or festoons. In late May, it stays light until about 8:50pm.

  1. It starts with your date, venue, numbers and what you’d like to serve.
  2. We talk through licensing with you, whether that’s the venue’s licence or a Temporary Event Notice.
  3. We put together a drinks menu, with alcohol-free choices, and quote for it.
  4. We arrive, set up and serve margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.
  5. When the bar closes, we pack down and clear our area.

Before we arrive

  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
  • Find out what power and water are available
