How we price Mexican party catering
We’ll give you a clear quote. The main things that affect it are:
- What the venue already provides
- Whether you add a drinks bar or food
- Travel, parking and access
- Staff for serving and the bar
The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, plus any add-ons and the location. We quote for each event individually.
What to tell us
When you contact us, it helps to tell us:
- Gate widths, slopes and the ground
- Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
- Any dietary needs and allergies
- Expected numbers
Not sure what you need yet? No problem: tell us about the occasion and the guests, and we will make suggestions. To start, tell us about it on our contact page.
Mexican party catering in Southend, served fresh
We cater parties at homes, village halls with outdoor space, clubs and hired venues in and around Southend. Tell us where the party is and we’ll check the access. It suits retirement celebrations and garden get-togethers, serving guacamole and salsas, quesadillas and loaded nachos.
In a small place like Southend, a party in the garden or a nearby field is often the plan. Let us know about access and soft ground, and we will plan the set-up. Guests are served from our food truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan the service around your numbers.
Southend: your questions answered
We’re having a ceremony at Church of the Holy Trinity: can you cater afterwards?
Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.
Which station is closest to Southend?
Guests can use Portchester station, about 5 miles south of Southend.
What areas do you cover?
London and South East England: Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire.
Do you cook on site?
We cook to order in our food truck or trailer kitchen, or serve from a taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.
How much space do you need?
A level, firm spot for the truck or trailer, with access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s agreement. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.
What about power on site?
Let us know what’s available on site, such as a supply from the venue near where we will park, and we will confirm the arrangements with your quote.
Are plates and napkins included?
Please ask us. Tell us what your venue provides, and we’ll confirm what’s included with your quote.
What food and drinks do you offer?
Mexican street food and drinks: tacos and build-your-own taco bars, burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar.

Step by step
Service is quick and friendly: guests are served at the hatch or a serving station, so a crowd is looked after quickly. Afterwards we clear our area. At midsummer, it’s light in Southend until about 9:20pm, which gives a garden party a long evening. By late September sunset is around 7:10pm, so plan festoon lights for later parties.

Space, access and the venue
We’ll agree the spot with you before the day. A good spot ticks these boxes:
- Some distance from houses and neighbours
- Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first
- A quick photo of the access helps us plan
Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly.
DIY taco night versus a caterer
Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Contact us for a quote to compare.
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Read our guide to taco bars.
Comparing your options
Ordering takeaway is easy but forgettable. A truck or trailer serving hot food feels like an event. There is no one-size-fits-all price for Mexican party catering. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.
