About our Mexican street food in Yorkletts
Organisers can book us as a public stall or to feed crew, volunteers and hospitality areas. For open-air performances and agricultural and county shows, we will put together a menu of burrito bowls, burritos and quesadillas and more.
Near Yorkletts, events may be far from shops and cafés, so a taco truck is a welcome sight. We turn up ready to serve, and tidy our own area afterwards.
What affects the price in Yorkletts
Each event is quoted on its own, based on a few main things:
- Timings and hours
- Staff for serving and the bar
- Plates, napkins and cutlery
- What’s on the menu
There is no one-size-fits-all price for Mexican street food. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.

Running an event in Yorkletts
Yorkletts is about 2 miles south-west of Whitstable, in Kent. Tell us where your event in Yorkletts will be, and we will plan access and set-up. We cover 922 places in Kent, wherever the truck or trailer can get in.
PTA volunteers planning an event for a school like The Whitstable School might like a trader who brings everything and serves quickly. Events in parks such as Foxes Cross Bottom need permission from the council or landowner, and we will send any documents they ask for from us. With the sea within about 3 miles, we plan for wind at coastal events, on firm ground rather than sand.
Wherever your event is in CT5, we can bring the truck or trailer to your guests, from busy streets to quiet lanes. Local streets include Ford Walk, Glen Walk and Coombe Walk; for an event at home on any of them, tell us where the truck or trailer can park. If your venue is just outside Yorkletts, we also cover Denstroude (1 mile south-east), Honey Hill (2 miles south-east), Whitstable (2 miles north-east), Blean (2 miles south-east) and Radfall (3 miles east). Further out, we also cater in Ashford (14 miles south-west), Canterbury (5 miles south-east), Sittingbourne (12 miles west), Faversham (5 miles west), Herne Bay (6 miles north-east) and Minster (11 miles north-west).

Yorkletts questions
Could you serve in Foxes Cross Bottom?
Only with permission from whoever runs the park, often the council. Ask them first, and we’ll help with the information they need from us.
Could you come to a seaside event near Yorkletts?
We can, given firm ground and the landowner’s permission. Beaches and promenades usually need the council’s agreement, so check that first.
Do you cater for coeliacs?
Yes, we offer gluten-free options, made with corn tortillas. Tell us about any coeliac guests before the event so we can explain how we prepare their food.
Do you give allergen information?
Yes. Tell us about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we give it for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). For severe allergies, please talk to us first.
Can you do dairy-free food?
Yes, on request. Let us know your dairy-free numbers, and we’ll include them in the plan.
Do you provide plates and napkins?
Ask us when you enquire. Tell us what your venue provides, and we’ll set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.
Is there a vegan option at your stall?
We do. There are vegan tacos and corn tortillas for gluten-free visitors.
Do you do crew catering?
Yes, timed to your schedule. Send us numbers and times.

Diets, allergies and planning
We cater for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests. To get it right:
- Make allergen information visible at every stall
- Ask about peak-time capacity
- Check every diet is covered by the line-up
- Share power and water details early
We arrive in the agreed set-up window, following your trader pack.

How it works
We get there well before you want to serve, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. Guests come up to order when service opens. At midsummer, events in Yorkletts stay light until about 9:15pm, so evening trading typically finishes in daylight in high summer. Winter markets, dark by about 3:50pm, need a well-lit pitch.
- You send us the event, the dates and the pitch details.
- We send our menu, pitch requirements and the documents you ask traders for.
- We arrive at the agreed time and set up on our pitch.
- Tacos, burritos and more are served to order while the event is open.
- When trading ends, we pack down and leave the pitch clean.
Before we arrive
- Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
- Tell us what power and water the site has
- Let us know who to talk to on the day
Getting a price
The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: venue, timings, menu ideas and access. To send your details, tell us about it on our contact page.
