How Mexican catering works in GU47

We slow-cook the fillings ahead and finish them on site, while the salsas and guacamole are made fresh. We warm the tortillas as each order goes out. It works well for engagement celebrations and garden parties, with a build-your-own taco bar, burrito bowls and burritos.

From set-up to service, we look after everything you’ve booked from us, so you can enjoy your event.

  1. Send us your date, numbers and venue.
  2. Together we plan a menu around your guests’ diets.
  3. We confirm the way in and where we’ll park.
  4. Food is served from the hatch or a taco-bar table.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

Pricing in GU47

The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

Taco catering in GU47: local guide

From Camberley, Sandhurst and York Town to 0 villages and hamlets, events across GU47 range from town-centre venues to gardens and fields, and a food truck or trailer can work in all of them, given access. Town events mean planning parking; village events mean planning access and ground.

Sandhurst: Guests leaving a church like St George's Church after a christening could walk over to a nearby garden where the tacos are ready. Before you pencil in Sandhurst Memorial Park, find out who manages it: driving a truck onto parkland and selling food there both need their agreement. Evenings in Sandhurst stay light until about 9:25pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm. Festoon lights or floodlights help once it gets dark.

Before you choose a spot

If a space is not suitable, we’ll tell you, and suggest an alternative. What matters most:

  • A sensible distance from buildings and neighbours
  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
  • Hardstanding or firm, level ground to park on

For planners, venues and organisers

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we’ll work to it.

If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can check the date.

What Mexican catering costs

Your quote will be clear. What affects it most:

  • The number of people
  • What the venue already provides
  • Travel, parking and access
  • The menu you choose

Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.

What we need to know

You don’t need every detail fixed to get a quote, but these help:

  • Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • A picture of where we’d park
  • Diets and allergies you know about

Dietary needs and planning tips

Nearly every event has some special diets. To plan for them:

  • Mention any other caterers or courses
  • Ask guests about diets and allergies with your invitations
  • Confirm the venue is happy to have a catering vehicle
  • Confirm allergies by email before the event

If you’ve chosen a taco bar, the fillings, salsas and toppings go out on a serving table, and guests help themselves while we keep it topped up.

Tell us if you need plates, cutlery or serving staff and we’ll set out what we can do in your quote.

Mexican catering or something else?

A cold buffet is simple but tends to sit out for hours. Tacos and burritos are made to order and served hot.

What your quote should include

  • Where to see their hygiene rating
  • What the price includes, item by item
  • What the caterer needs from your venue
  • When final numbers are due

GU47 questions

What food and drinks do you offer?

Mexican street food: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, plus salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

How much space do you need?

A level, firm spot for the truck or trailer, with access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s agreement. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

Yes. Vegetarian and vegan fillings, such as spiced mushrooms or black beans, can be part of the menu, served alongside the meat options.

How is the food prepared?

Food is cooked to order in our food truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

Do you have options for kids?

Yes. We can keep dishes mild, and simple options such as quesadillas or nachos can be part of the menu. Include children in your numbers.

Can you do gluten-free food?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.

What guest numbers do you cater for?

It depends on the event. As a guide, it’s around 50 to 400 guests; tell us your numbers and we’ll plan around them.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
