Mexican catering across RG40
Few things get guests chatting like a build-your-own taco bar. Guests fill their own tortillas from the fillings, salsas and toppings, so each plate is exactly how they like it. It works well for weddings, day or evening and retirement and leaving parties, serving burrito bowls, tacos and loaded nachos.
We arrive in good time before service, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. Guests come up to order when service opens.
- Share the date, the venue and how many are coming.
- Together we plan a menu around your guests’ diets.
- We confirm the way in and where we will park.
- Food is served from the hatch or a taco-bar table.
- After the last serving, we clear our area.

Catering events across RG40
RG40 covers everything from Crowthorne, Arborfield Garrison and Emmbrook to 9 small villages and hamlets, and a food truck or trailer can work in all of them, given access. Town events mean planning parking; village events mean planning access and ground.
Wokingham: Guests arriving by train will find that Wokingham has its own station, Wokingham station. For a christening or wedding at a church such as Church of St Paul, a food truck at a garden or venue nearby is an easy way to feed everyone. Winter evenings in Wokingham close in by about 3:55pm, so choose a spot where guests can see what they’re ordering. In late June, by contrast, daylight lasts until about 9:25pm.
How it compares
A cold buffet is simple but tends to sit out for hours. Tacos and burritos are made to order and served hot.
Comparing caterers
- Staff numbers and hours
- A clear list of what’s included
- Plates and napkins, or nothing at all
- The venue requirements
For planners, venues and organisers
For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so guests are looked after quickly. Let us know how long the break is.
Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.
Who books Mexican catering?
The truck or trailer becomes a focal point, and the smell of warm tortillas brings people over.
If you’re planning any of these, we can help:
- Charity and school events
- Leaving parties
- Festivals, fairs and markets
- Family gatherings and christenings
What affects the price in RG40
Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, because of:
- The menu you choose
- Parking and the route in
- How many guests we are serving
- How many staff you need
A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there’s no kitchen to hire. Contact us for a quote to compare.
What to tell us
To speed things up, tell us:
- Expected numbers
- The date and rough timings
- What you’d like on the menu
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
It is easy to get a price: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We will send you a clear quote.
About the menu

Burritos and burrito bowls
A big flour tortilla wrapped round rice, beans, a filling and toppings, or served as a bowl instead.
RG40 questions
Do you clear up afterwards?
We pack down and tidy our own area after service. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.
What access do you need?
A level, firm spot for the truck or trailer, with access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s agreement. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.
Do you do a drinks bar?
You can add our drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. We will go through the licensing with you before the day.
Is the food made fresh?
Fillings are slow-cooked in advance, then finished and kept hot on site. The tortillas are warmed on site, and the salsas and guacamole are made fresh.
Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?
Yes, and we plan them in from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect, and we will keep their options separate.
Is the food suitable for children?
Yes, children are welcome. Tell us how many and roughly how old, and we’ll plan the menu with them in mind.
