Mexican catering across MK16
Our truck and trailer service tends to suit around 50 to 400 guests. Larger festivals and smaller parties are looked at case by case, so let us know how many you expect. It works well for family celebrations and milestone birthdays, serving burrito bowls, burritos and loaded nachos.
The truck or trailer tends to draw a crowd, so we plan a spot with space for people to queue. Rain doesn’t normally stop us serving, though guests will want somewhere covered to stand or sit.
- You tell us the date, the venue, rough guest numbers and any dietary needs.
- We put together a menu around your guests and quote for it.
- Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
- On the day we arrive, set up and serve hot food from our truck or trailer.
- When service ends, we pack down and clear our area.
Cost
Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there is no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.

Landmarks near Newport Pagnell
We can bring the truck to events near The Plough pub, Cedars Primary School and Ousedale School. For guests coming by rail, the closest station is Wolverton station, roughly 3.4 miles west. Other landmarks nearby include Midsummer Place (3 miles south) and Newport Pagnell Historical Society Museum (within half a mile north-east). For a walk before or after the party, there is Little Linford Wood and Tongwell Lake.
Catering events across MK16
MK16 covers everything from Newport Pagnell, Broughton and Willen to 11 small villages and hamlets, and a food truck or trailer can work in all of them, given access. Town events mean planning parking; village events mean planning access and ground.
Newport Pagnell: For a christening or wedding at a church such as Church of St Bede (Roman Catholic), a food truck at a garden or venue nearby is an easy way to feed everyone. The A422 and A509 run on or near Newport Pagnell, so the drive in with the truck or trailer is a simple one. Evenings in Newport Pagnell stay light until about 9:25pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm. Festoon lights or floodlights help once it gets dark.
Working with your venue
Hosting a party at home? Send a photo of the space and tell us about access, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.
Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.
Popular choices
Build-your-own taco bar
A taco bar is relaxed and sociable, and it makes mixed diets easy, with every dish labelled.
Burritos and burrito bowls
A burrito is a meal in one. The bowl version suits anyone avoiding tortillas.
Diets, allergies and planning
Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. We suggest:
- Ask guests about diets and allergies with your invitations
- Ask guests with severe allergies to talk to us before the event
- Plan somewhere covered for guests to eat if it rains
- Confirm allergies by email before the event
For a taco bar, we lay the fillings, salsas and toppings out on a table, and guests help themselves while we keep it topped up.
Ask us about plates, cutlery and serving staff and we’ll set out what we can do in your quote.
Can I do a taco night myself?
Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.
For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.
Prices and what affects them
Contact us for a quote, and the price is based on:
- Staff for serving and the bar
- Timings and hours
- The number of people
- Whether you add a drinks bar or food
When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we will set out what’s included.
Getting an accurate quote
You don’t need every detail fixed to get a quote, but these help:
- Approximate guest numbers, including children
- Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
- Any dietary needs and allergies
- Where the event is
Most quotes start with a few simple details: the date, where the event is, how many guests and any dietary needs. To send them, fill in our quote form.
MK16: your questions answered
Are plates and napkins included?
Please ask us. Let us know what you already have, and we will confirm what’s included with your quote.
What’s on the menu?
We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings could include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. See our menu for ideas.
Can you cater for special diets?
We plan carefully for diets and keep options separate, but we can’t promise a kitchen without traces of any allergen. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.
Do you need power and water?
Tell us what the site has, such as a supply from the venue near where we’ll park, and we will confirm what we need with your quote.
Can you cater for guests who avoid dairy?
Yes, we can. Let us know your dairy-free numbers, and we’ll plan the menu around them.
Do you do margaritas?
Yes, we run a Mexican drinks bar, serving margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas such as hibiscus and horchata, and soft drinks. Your venue or event may need the right licence for alcohol, so we’ll go through the licensing with you.
How much will it cost?
Every event is quoted for individually, based on guest numbers, the menu, the venue and timings. For a price, fill in our quote form.
