Mexican catering in N22: what to expect
We bring our truck or trailer to events in and around N22: gardens, fields, yards and venues with hardstanding. It suits big birthday celebrations and christenings and family parties, serving quesadillas, burritos and a build-your-own taco bar.
We take care of everything you’ve booked, from set-up to service, so you can enjoy your event.
- It begins with the basics: your date, venue, guest numbers and dietary needs.
- You get a suggested menu, with fillings agreed with you, and a quote.
- Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
- On the day, we set up and serve from the truck or trailer, or from a taco-bar station.
- When service ends, we pack down and clear our area.

Planning a food truck in N22
From Palmers Green, Noel Park and Wood Green to 0 villages and hamlets, events across N22 range from town-centre venues to gardens and fields, and a truck or trailer suits most settings with access and level ground. Town events mean planning parking; village events mean planning access and ground.
Noel Park: Parks such as Ducketts Common normally need the owner’s permission for vehicles and catering, so ask before you plan an event there. For a fête or sports day at a school such as Noel Park Primary School, hot food from a truck or trailer saves the volunteers from cooking. Around midsummer it stays light in Noel Park until about 9:20pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:05pm, so summer evening events are usually served in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so winter events need lighting around the truck and the queue.
Dietary needs and planning tips
Most events have a mix of diets. To cater well for them:
- Plan somewhere covered for guests to eat if it rains
- Let us know if a guest is coeliac
- Include at least one vegan filling
- Guests with serious allergies should speak to us in advance
Allergen information is on hand for every dish, and guests are welcome to ask before ordering.
Quesadillas go down well with children.
Space, access and the venue
No two venues are the same, so we ask about the space before we confirm. In general, we need:
- Space for a taco-bar table if you’ve chosen one
- Agreement from the venue to bring a food truck or trailer on site
- Details of power and water on site, agreed when you book
Is Mexican catering right for you?
With a barbecue, someone normally ends up stuck at the grill. With us, the cooking happens in our food truck or trailer, so you can enjoy your event.

Why street food works
The food is bright and generous that fits informal events in N22.
Almost any gathering can work with a truck or trailer. People in N22 can book us for events such as:
- School fairs and fundraisers
- Leaving parties
- Family gatherings and christenings
- Company summer parties
Can I do a taco night myself?
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.
For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.
Questions from N22
Can you come to a private house?
Yes, as long as there’s access and a level, firm spot. Send us a photo of the access and the space, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it works.
What access do you need?
Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, and the venue’s agreement. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.
Do you need electricity?
Let us know what’s available on site, for instance a supply from the venue, and we will confirm what we need with your quote.
Is the food made fresh?
Food is cooked to order in our truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.
Do you cater for coeliacs?
Yes, with corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we check every dish and give allergen information.
What’s on the menu?
Mexican street food and drinks: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.
Can you keep it mild?
That is your choice: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.
