About our wedding Mexican catering in Battersea
A Mexican menu makes mixed diets easier: we plan gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options and give allergen information for every dish. On the menu are quesadillas, evening tacos and a taco bar for the wedding breakfast, and it’s a good fit for gatherings the day after a wedding and weddings in a marquee or garden.
Couples in Battersea often marry locally and hold the reception at a venue nearby. A food truck needs a courtyard or forecourt it can reach, so ask your venue about vehicle access and loading early. All of Greater London is inside the ULEZ, and parking needs planning. Guests are served from our food truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan the service around your numbers.

For event organisers in Battersea
Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.
If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can check the date.
Can I do a taco night myself?
DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Read our guide to taco bars.

How the day works
A typical event goes like this: we arrive and set up, we open the hatch when you’re ready, and your guests are served fresh until service ends. December weddings in Battersea lose the light by about 3:55pm, so evening guests will be queuing in the dark. Ask your venue what outdoor lighting it has near where we’ll park.
- We start with your date, venue, guest numbers and ideas for the day.
- We plan the food with you: wedding breakfast, evening food or both.
- Timings and where the truck or trailer will stand are agreed with your venue.
- We arrive, set up and serve the food at the agreed times.
- Once service is done, we pack away quietly.
How to prepare
- Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
- Name one person we can ask on the day
- Confirm numbers and diets before the day

Questions from Battersea
Where would you park in Battersea?
London parking needs planning: let us know about permits or off-street space. Some streets may need a parking suspension from the council, and all of Greater London is inside the ULEZ.
Can you cater a reception after a service at Clapham Welsh Presbyterian Church?
Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.
Do you take everything away?
We pack down and leave our area tidy. Let us know the venue’s rules on waste and we’ll talk it through.
Do you have vegan options?
Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect.
How long are you on site?
That depends on your event and menu. Timings are agreed in advance to suit your day.
Can you do gluten-free food?
Yes, gluten-free options are available, using corn tortillas. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we can explain how we prepare their food. See are corn tortillas gluten-free?
Can you do dairy-free food?
Yes, on request. Let us know your dairy-free numbers, and we will include them in the plan.
Is the food very hot?
The food can be kept mild, and hotter salsas go on the side for guests who like heat.
Where the truck can go in Battersea
We will be honest if a space will not work, and help find another spot. What matters most:
- Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking
- A route in that’s wide and tall enough, with soft ground checked in advance
- Room for a queue in front of the serving hatch
Battersea is in London, inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, which covers all of Greater London, and parking can be tight: tell us about parking bays, permits, a driveway or whether a parking suspension is needed.
Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly.

Is wedding Mexican catering right for your wedding?
