Wedding Mexican catering in California
About our wedding Mexican catering in California
Service is planned around your running order: whether that’s straight after the photos or later in the evening. We go over timings with your venue beforehand. It suits rustic barn weddings and day-after celebrations, with loaded nachos, fresh guacamole and salsas and evening tacos.
For a smaller place like California, a garden or farm wedding can be ideal. We need level ground and access. Food and drinks can be booked together or separately, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

FAQs for California
Which station should guests use for California?
Guests can use Aylesbury station, which is right in California.
Do you cater in the Chilterns National Landscape?
Yes. Some venues there have rules about vehicles, ground and catering, so check with yours. We will follow the site rules.
Do you give allergen information?
Yes. Tell us about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we give it for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.
Which areas do you serve?
We cover London and the South East, Buckinghamshire included. Find your area.
Is Mexican street food too casual for a wedding?
It can be as relaxed or as polished as you like, depending on how it’s served.
Do you do parties at home?
Yes, if the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Tell us about the drive, gates and any slopes.
Can you do the wedding breakfast and evening food?
Yes: one part of the day, or both main meals. Tell us what you have in mind.
Do you provide plates and napkins?
Ask us when you enquire. Tell us what your venue provides, and we’ll confirm what’s included with your quote.
What’s on the menu
Loaded nachos
Nachos are a sociable evening snack.
Taco bar wedding breakfast
Fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings with warm tortillas, laid out for guests to build their own.
The process
We get there well before you want to serve, then set up and prepare everything. Guests come up to order when service opens. In California, midsummer sunset is about 9:25pm, and by late September it’s nearer 7:05pm, so evening tacos are normally served in daylight in high summer. For autumn and winter weddings, when it is dark by about 3:55pm in December, plan lighting around the truck or trailer.
- Tell us the date, the venue, day and evening numbers and your plans.
- We plan the food with you: wedding breakfast, evening food or both.
- Timings and where the truck or trailer will stand are agreed with your venue.
- We arrive, set up and serve the food at the agreed times.
- We pack down after service and leave our area tidy.
How to prepare
- Find out what power and water are available
- Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
- Give us your final numbers and diets

Why choose wedding Mexican catering in California?
Hog roasts are popular but tricky for mixed diets. Tacos cover them with separate fillings. If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we will suggest a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.

- Some distance from houses and neighbours
- Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking
If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think before you book.

We serve in 263 places in Buckinghamshire, wherever the truck or trailer can get in. We cater right across the region, from California to Milton Keynes (16 miles away).
Couples who choose a church such as Church of St Mary for the ceremony often pick a reception spot a short drive away. For outdoor photos, Beacon Hill is close by. A rural reception could be within reach, as the Chilterns National Landscape is no more than about 5 miles from California. Firm ground and a clear way in matter more than the view for a food truck.

Planners, venues and businesses
For larger events, we plan serving points around your timings, so everyone is served promptly. Let us know how long the break is.
If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.
DIY taco night versus a caterer
DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.
If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: see how many tacos per person. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.
What wedding Mexican catering costs
These are the factors that matter most:
- The length of service
- Guest numbers
- Food, drinks or both
- Your choice of food and drinks
Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.
What we need to know
