Wedding Mexican catering in Cheapside, served fresh

Evening food needs to be quick and filling, and tacos or nachos from the truck or trailer do the job without stopping the dancing for long. For late-evening wedding food and receptions after a small ceremony, we can serve fresh guacamole and salsas, burrito bowls and tacos and more.

There is something special about a country wedding near Cheapside, and a food truck by the barn or marquee adds to it. Plan for access, soft ground and wet-weather cover for guests. Guests are served from our truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan the service around your numbers.

What wedding Mexican catering costs

We quote for your event, which reflects:

  • How many guests we are serving
  • Staff for serving and the bar
  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • What’s on the menu

A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there is no kitchen to hire. Contact us for a quote to compare.

What we need to know

When you contact us, it helps to tell us:

  • The date and time of the event
  • What you’d like on the menu
  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • The address or venue name

Not sure what you need yet? That’s fine: give us the basics about your wedding, and we’ll suggest a menu. When you’re ready, fill in our quote form.

How it works

Here’s how the day typically runs: we arrive and set up, service opens at the agreed time, and your guests are served fresh until service ends. For a summer wedding in Cheapside, the sun sets at about 9:25pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so evening tacos are normally served in daylight in high summer. For autumn and winter weddings, when it’s dark by about 3:55pm in December, plan lighting around the truck or trailer.

  1. You send us your wedding date, venue, numbers and how you see the day.
  2. We plan the food with you: wedding breakfast, evening food or both.
  3. We agree access, timings, power and water with you and your venue.
  4. We arrive, set up and serve the food at the agreed times.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

Getting ready for the day

Planning help

Cheapside: your questions answered

Do you cater in villages like Cheapside?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

How far is Cheapside from central London?

It’s about 24 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

How much is a food truck for an event?

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually need. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas and we will reply with a quote.

Can you cater for vegans and gluten-free guests?

We can. There are vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests, and we give allergen information for every dish.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

We confirm that with your quote. Let us know what the venue supplies and we’ll talk it through.

Can you feed our photographer and band?

Yes. Include suppliers in your numbers.

Do you have vegan options?

Of course. We can include vegetarian and vegan fillings like black beans or spiced mushrooms, served alongside the meat options.

What if the photos overrun?

It happens at most weddings. Service starts when your running order says.

Diets, allergies and planning

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. We suggest:

  • Connect us with your coordinator
  • Tell us how many evening guests to expect
  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP cards
  • Ask about your date as soon as you have one

We keep in touch with your venue coordinator on the day, so you can enjoy yourselves.

Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can be added, with licensing checked with you and your venue.

Organising for someone else?

If you are booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll explain how it works. We’re happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

Hosting a party at home? Send us a photo of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we will tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone has to serve all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
