Step by step

Service is quick and friendly: guests are served at the hatch or a serving station, so a crowd is looked after quickly. Afterwards we clear our area. For a summer wedding in Ascot, the sun sets at about 9:25pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so evening tacos are typically served in daylight in high summer. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it is dark by about 3:55pm.

  1. Tell us the date, the venue, day and evening numbers and your plans.
  2. We plan the food with you: wedding breakfast, evening food or both.
  3. Timings and where the truck or trailer will stand are agreed with your venue.
  4. On the day we set up and serve when your running order says.
  5. Once service is done, we pack away quietly.

Catering for every guest

Most events have a mix of diets. To cater well for them:

  • Send us the running order and speech times
  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP cards
  • Ask whether your venue allows food trucks
  • Connect us with your coordinator

We park where the venue agrees, ideally where guests can see us, which makes a good photo.

Tell us if you need plates, cutlery or staff, and we’ll set it out in the quote.

How it compares

Plated wedding meals need a kitchen and more staff. Our truck or trailer brings its own kitchen, and a taco bar feels more relaxed. If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we will suggest a menu that fits. Even a simple menu can feel generous.

Why book with us

  • Set-up planned with you and your venue
  • Allergen information for every dish
  • Quoted for your event
  • A truck or trailer that comes to you

Read our pricing and the cost guide.

Before you choose a spot

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but there are a few things to check:

  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
  • A clear area in front of the hatch for a queue
  • A place for the truck or trailer near where guests are eating

If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think.

Should I do it myself?

Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.
