Wedding Mexican catering in Chute Forest, from our truck or trailer
A Mexican menu makes mixed diets easier: we plan vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options and give allergen information for every dish. It works well for rustic barn weddings and marquee and garden weddings, serving quesadillas, loaded nachos and fresh guacamole and salsas.
Rural weddings around Chute Forest have a charm of their own, and tacos served from a truck in a field add to it. Plan access, ground and cover in case of rain. Guests are served from our food truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.
What’s on the menu
Evening tacos
Tacos from the hatch, easy to eat standing up.
Burrito bowls
A burrito bowl is a good alternative to tacos.
DIY taco night or a caterer?
Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.
DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

FAQs for Chute Forest
Could you serve our guests after a service at St Mary's Church?
Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.
Do you cater in villages like Chute Forest?
Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.
What if the weather’s bad?
We can keep serving from the truck or trailer in the rain, but your guests will want somewhere covered, like a marquee or gazebo.
Do you cater for coeliacs?
We can, using corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free, but some fillings, sauces and toppings may not be, so we check every dish and give allergen information.
Do you do a wedding bar?
Yes, we have a drinks bar, with bar staff serving your guests. Alcohol needs the right licence, so we’ll check that with you.
Do you cater for vegetarian guests?
Of course. We can include vegetarian and vegan fillings like black beans or spiced mushrooms.
How spicy is the food?
We can keep it mild, with hotter salsas on the side for anyone who wants more heat.
Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?
Yes, a taco bar is one of our options. Let us know your numbers and space and we’ll suggest the best set-up.
Space, access and the venue
Access is the first thing to check for a truck or trailer. We need:
- Agreement from the venue to bring a food truck or trailer on site
- A serving spot close to the marquee or reception area
- Clear vehicle access: gate widths, height limits and the ground checked before the day
If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think before booking.
What we offer

Comparing your options
A buffet can leave food sitting out. Our food is served hot from the truck or trailer when guests are ready. Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, plus any add-ons and the location. We quote for each event individually.

How it works
When we arrive, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. Service starts at the time we have agreed, planned around your event. A winter wedding in Chute Forest gets dark early, at about 4:00pm in December, so the evening food will be served after dark. Ask your venue what outdoor lighting it has near where we’ll park.
- We start with your date, venue, guest numbers and ideas for the day.
- Together we choose a taco bar, evening food or both, and we send a quote.
- We agree access, timings, power and water with you and your venue.
- On the day, we set up and serve on cue, around speeches and photos.
- Once service is done, we pack away quietly.
How to prepare
- Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
- Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
- Give us a contact for the day
