In Denbigh, a local ceremony and a marquee reception is a personal choice. A truck or trailer parked by the marquee fits right in. Tell us about access to the field or garden. Your quote sets out what’s included: menu, timings and any add-ons.

Wedding Mexican catering or something else?

Choosing between tacos and a traditional menu?, consider the venue, the diets and the style you want. Pricing depends on the event. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Contact us for a quote.

Denbigh questions

Is it possible to have you in Waterhall Park?

Only if the landowner, often the council, allows it. Check with them, and we will provide what they ask for from us.

Can you cater a reception after a service at Whaddon Way Church?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.

What do you serve?

Mexican street food: tacos and build-your-own taco bars, burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas, plus salsas, guacamole and toppings. A drinks bar is available too, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Do you cater for suppliers?

Yes, include them in your numbers. Tell us when they’ll eat.

Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?

We can. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings. Read our taco bar guide.

What if the timings change?

It happens at most weddings. Food is served to order, so we can start when you are ready.

How is the food prepared?

We slow-cook fillings ahead, then finish them and keep them hot at your event. Tortillas are warmed on site, and salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

Can you cater in a back garden?

That depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Send us a picture and we’ll talk it through.

How it works

On the day, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. Service starts at the time we’ve agreed, planned around your event. A winter wedding in Denbigh gets dark early, at about 3:55pm in December, so evening guests will be queuing in the dark. Ask your venue what outdoor lighting it has near where we will park.

  1. Send us your wedding date, venue and numbers.
  2. We plan the wedding breakfast, evening food or both with you.
  3. We agree timings and access with the venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue.
  5. We clear our area once service ends.

Before we arrive

  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
  • Tell us when you want service to start

About the menu

Evening tacos

Tacos from the hatch, quick to serve and easy to eat.

Quesadillas

Crisp quesadillas cut into wedges.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

Organising for someone else?

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.

For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so guests are looked after quickly. Tell us how long you have for food and drinks.

What wedding Mexican catering costs

Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:

  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • How long we’re needed on site
  • Whether you need disposables
  • How many staff you need

If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.

What to tell us

To check availability and price, we need:

  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
  • A photo of the space, if it is a garden or field
  • The date and rough timings
  • What you’d like on the menu

To get a price, just send us your details through our quote form. Tell us about your wedding in Denbigh, and we’ll suggest a menu to suit.

What we need at the venue

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but there are a few things to check:

  • A serving point within easy walk of the reception
  • A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand
  • A spot away from buildings, windows and neighbours

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise before booking.

Popular choices

  • Evening tacos
  • Guacamole and salsas
  • Burritos and bowls

Dietary needs and planning tips

Mixed diets are straightforward to plan for, because guests can choose what suits them. Here are a few tips for planning:

  • Put us in touch with your venue
  • Add your band and photographer to the numbers
  • Tell us when the speeches will be
  • Plan a covered area for eating in case of rain

A taco bar is laid out on a table, and guests come up table by table if you like.

We can feed your photographer and band too.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
