Wedding Mexican catering for your wedding in Hillgrove

Your wedding menu is agreed with you, perhaps with fillings such as carnitas, chicken tinga or birria, alongside vegan choices like black beans or spiced mushrooms. It works well for weddings in a marquee or garden and informal wedding breakfasts, with a taco bar for the wedding breakfast, fresh guacamole and salsas and tacos.

There’s something special about a country wedding near Hillgrove, and tacos served from a truck in a field add to it. Plan for access, soft ground and wet-weather cover for guests. Every guest is catered for, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan included, and we give allergen information for every dish.

What wedding Mexican catering costs

Every event is priced individually, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Whether you need disposables
  • How many staff you need
  • Travel, parking and access
  • Your choice of food and drinks

When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.

What we need to know

When you contact us, it helps to tell us:

  • What you’d like on the menu
  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • What power and water the site has
  • The date and time of the event

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, plus any dietary needs, and we will reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. To get started, send us your details through our quote form.

About the menu

Quesadillas

A simple option for younger guests.

Taco bar wedding breakfast

A taco bar makes a relaxed main meal. Fillings are agreed with you.

The process

A typical event goes like this: we park up and get ready, service opens at the agreed time, and your guests are served fresh for the agreed time. At midsummer, sunset in Hillgrove is about 9:20pm, which helps us time evening food around your photos. In late May, sunset is about 8:55pm, and in late September about 7:10pm.

  1. We start by checking your date.
  2. You choose the fillings, sides and extras.
  3. We confirm the plan with your venue.
  4. Food is served from the taco bar or the hatch.
  5. We serve, then pack down.

Getting ready for the day

  • Tell us what power and water the site has
  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day

For planners, venues and organisers

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.

If you’re planning an event on someone’s behalf, whether you are a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we will work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.

Planning the serving area

If a space is not suitable, we will tell you. The main points are:

  • Details of power and water on site, agreed when you book
  • A clear area in front of the hatch for a queue
  • A sensible distance from buildings and neighbours

Out-of-the-way places like Hillgrove take a little more planning, so let us know about tracks, gates and power in good time.

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly.

Your questions about wedding Mexican catering in Hillgrove

Is it possible to have you in Seaclose Park?

Only with permission from whoever runs the park, often the council. Check with them, and we’ll provide what they ask for from us.

Can you serve near the sea around Hillgrove?

We can, given firm ground and the landowner’s permission. Beaches and promenades normally need the council’s agreement, so check that first.

What if our speeches run late?

Tell us and we’ll adjust. We keep in touch with your venue on the day and serve when you’re ready.

Do you need power and water?

Let us know what’s available on site, such as a supply from the venue near where we’ll park, and we will confirm what we need with your quote.

Do you take everything away?

We pack down and tidy our own area after service. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.

Do you cover Hillgrove?

Yes. We cover London and the South East, including Hillgrove. For a quote, tell us about it on our contact page.

What about supplier meals?

Of course. Include suppliers in your numbers.

Can a taco bar feel special?

It can be as relaxed or as polished as you like, depending on the presentation and the venue.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included. To get it right:

  • Have cover for guests if the weather turns
  • Include suppliers who need feeding
  • Give us separate day and evening numbers
  • Share your running order, including speeches

We pack down after service; the evening carries on without us.

Quesadillas go down well with children at the wedding breakfast.

Should I do it myself?

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: see how many tacos per person. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label anything containing allergens.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather be with your guests, we’ll do the serving.

Wedding Mexican catering or something else?

Evening food is often pizza or bacon rolls. Evening tacos are something different, and they’re just as easy to eat. Pricing depends on the event. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Contact us for a quote.
