Wedding Mexican catering near Horton

Wedding Mexican catering in Horton, from our food truck or trailer

We can do the wedding breakfast, evening food, or the two together. A taco bar for the meal and loaded nachos or tacos for the evening works well. It works well for garden and marquee weddings and vow renewals and blessings, serving burrito bowls, fresh guacamole and salsas and a taco bar for the wedding breakfast.

Near Horton, weddings are often in fields, barns or gardens. A truck or trailer works well there: no kitchen, just firm ground and access. Let us know about access, ground, power and water. Access, space and power are agreed with you beforehand, so set-up goes smoothly.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

About the menu

How to compare caterers

How we price wedding Mexican catering

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, depending on:

  • Timings and hours
  • What the venue already provides
  • The menu you choose
  • Distance and access to the venue

Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

Getting an accurate quote

These details help us quote quickly:

  • What you’d like on the menu
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • The date and time of the event

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, along with any dietary needs, and you will get menu ideas and a price. To get started, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

For planners, venues and organisers

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.

For larger events, we plan serving points around your timings, so everyone is served promptly. Let us know how long the break is.

Why choose wedding Mexican catering in Horton?

A buffet can leave food sitting out. Tacos go straight from the hatch to the plate. Got a budget? Let us know, and we’ll suggest a menu that fits. Even a simple menu can feel generous.

What you get with us

  • A truck or trailer that comes to you
  • Service planned around your numbers
  • Book food, drinks or both
  • Quoted for your event

Horton questions

Could you serve in Arthur Jacob Nature Reserve?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we’ll send what they need from us.

Do you come out to small places like Horton?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

Can you feed our photographer and band?

Just add them to your numbers. Let us know when they need feeding.

What if the photos overrun?

It happens at most weddings. Food is served to order, so we can start when you’re ready.

Do you give allergen information?

Our menus are planned with allergies in mind, nut allergies included, with allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we can’t promise anything is completely allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.

What do you need at the venue?

A level, firm spot for the truck or trailer, with access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s agreement. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.

Do you have gluten-free options?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free, but some fillings, sauces and toppings may not be, so we check every dish and give allergen information.

Do you have vegan options?

Yes. We can include vegetarian and vegan fillings like black beans or spiced mushrooms.

How the day works

It’s a relaxed, well-organised set-up. We agree arrival and serving times in advance, set up our food truck or trailer, and get on with serving. Golden-hour photos in Horton at midsummer come around 9:25pm, so we can time the evening food around your photos. Sunset is around 8:55pm in late May and 7:05pm in late September.

  1. We start with your date, venue, guest numbers and ideas for the day.
  2. Together we choose a taco bar, evening food or both, and we send a quote.
  3. We agree access, timings, power and water with you and your venue.
  4. On the day we set up and serve when your running order says.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

Preparing for the day

  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
  • Give us a contact for the day
  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
