Wedding Mexican catering for your wedding in Inkpen

We can do the wedding breakfast, evening food, or the two together. One option is a taco bar for the main meal and tacos or nachos later on. At informal wedding breakfasts and marquee and garden weddings, we can serve fresh guacamole and salsas, tacos and evening tacos.

A wedding in a small place like Inkpen often means a field, a barn or a family garden. A truck or trailer works well there: no kitchen, just firm ground and access. Tell us about lanes, gates and ground conditions. Guests are served from our truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan the service around your numbers.

Step by step

We arrive in good time before service, then set up and prepare everything. Guests come up to order when service opens. In Inkpen, midsummer sunset is about 9:25pm, and by late September it is nearer 7:10pm, which means evening food is usually served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it’s dark by about 4:00pm.

  1. We start by checking your date.
  2. You choose the fillings, sides and extras.
  3. We confirm access and the serving spot with your coordinator.
  4. Food is served from the taco bar or the hatch.
  5. After serving, we clear away.

A buffet can leave food sitting out. Tacos go straight from the hatch to the plate when guests are ready. Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.

FAQs for Inkpen

We are having a ceremony at Church of St Michael: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Will you travel to a small place like Inkpen?

Yes, small places are no problem, given access. Let us know about access and parking for the truck or trailer.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect.

How soon do we need to book?

As soon as you have a date. Popular dates go first, so it pays to ask early.

Is the food suitable for children?

Yes, children are welcome. Let us know numbers and ages, and we’ll suggest mild options.

Can we add margaritas?

Yes, our Mexican drinks bar serves margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. We’ll talk licensing through with you and your venue.

What does wedding Mexican catering cost?

We quote for each event, based on what you actually need. Tell us your date and numbers and we’ll reply with a quote.

Can you liaise with the venue coordinator?

Yes, and it saves you passing messages. Introduce us and we’ll sort the details.

What we need at the venue

The route in matters as much as the spot itself. We look for:

  • A route in that is wide and tall enough, with soft ground checked in advance
  • A serving spot close to the marquee or reception area
  • Some distance from houses and neighbours

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise before you book.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Good planning keeps every guest safe and happy. Try these:

  • Enquire early for summer Saturdays
  • Tell us about guests with coeliac disease or severe allergies
  • Collect dietary needs on the RSVP
  • Count day and evening guests separately

If things run late, and we’ll move the serving time.

Extra salsas and toppings make the taco bar look generous.
