Wedding Mexican catering for Knightwood events

Wedding Mexican catering for your wedding in Knightwood

Service is planned around your running order: after the drinks reception, between the speeches or once evening guests arrive. We go over timings with your venue beforehand. Popular choices include loaded nachos, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast and fresh guacamole and salsas, and it suits late-evening wedding food and sharing-style wedding meals.

For a smaller place like Knightwood, a garden or farm wedding can be ideal. We’ll need level, firm ground and a way to reach it. Everything is prepared fresh for your wedding and served from our truck or trailer, so guests get it at its best.

Step by step

When service finishes, we pack up and leave our area tidy. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. A winter wedding in Knightwood gets dark early, at about 4:00pm in December, so the evening food will be served after dark. Festoon lights by the truck help guests see the menu.

  1. We start by checking your date.
  2. You choose the fillings, sides and extras.
  3. We confirm the plan with your venue.
  4. Food is served from the taco bar or the hatch.
  5. We serve, then pack down.

Should I do it myself?

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
