Wedding Mexican catering in Eastleigh

How our wedding Mexican catering works in Eastleigh

Evening guests want something hot, quick and filling, and tacos or loaded nachos from our food truck or trailer fit the bill. On the menu are burrito bowls, fresh guacamole and salsas and quesadillas, and it suits farm and barn venues and engagement parties.

Couples in Eastleigh often keep it personal, with a marquee or a hall nearby. Tacos for the wedding breakfast or the evening suit that kind of day, as long as the truck or trailer can get in. We serve from the hatch of our truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

How the day works

We need a level, firm spot we can drive the truck or trailer onto, and we agree power and water arrangements before the day. A photo of the space helps. A winter wedding in Eastleigh gets dark early, at about 4:00pm in December, so evening guests will be queuing in the dark. Festoon lights by the truck help guests see the menu.

  1. First, we check availability for your date.
  2. You choose the fillings, sides and extras.
  3. We confirm the plan with your venue.
  4. Guests build their tacos at the taco bar or order at the hatch.
  5. We serve, then pack down.

Before we arrive

  • Share the running order, including any speeches
  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time

Is wedding Mexican catering right for your wedding?

A hog roast is popular at weddings, but harder for vegetarian and vegan guests. Separate fillings and toppings cover every diet. Access, parking and the distance to your venue can affect the price, so it helps to tell us about your venue. Your quote confirms the full price.

Why us?

  • Book food, drinks or both
  • Allergen information for everything we serve
  • Access, space and power checked in advance
  • We cover Eastleigh and the whole of Hampshire

Read our prices page or what Mexican catering costs.

What affects the price in Eastleigh

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, because of:

  • Whether you need disposables
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Food, drinks or both

The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, plus any add-ons and the location. Every event gets its own quote.

Details that help

Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:

  • Your menu ideas
  • The date and time of the event
  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • Where the event is

To get a price, just send a quick message through our quote form. Tell us about your wedding in Eastleigh, and we will suggest a menu to suit.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

Planning for every diet

Every guest is catered for, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free included. To make it work smoothly:

  • Ask about your date as soon as you have one
  • Plan a covered area for eating in case of rain
  • Let us know about severe allergies in writing
  • Ask whether your venue allows food trucks

On the day, we work with your coordinator or toastmaster, so you do not have to.

Add our drinks bar for margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Where the truck can go in Eastleigh

Before the day, we will agree where we park and serve. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer
  • Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first
  • Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking

If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think.

What we offer

  • Burritos and bowls
  • Taco bar wedding breakfast
  • Margarita bar
  • Evening tacos
  • Nachos to share
  • Guacamole and salsas

Your questions about wedding Mexican catering in Eastleigh

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Lakeside Country Park?

Only if the landowner, often the council, allows it. Check with them, and we’ll provide what they ask for from us.

We’re having a ceremony at Church of the Resurrection: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

When do you arrive?

We arrive in good time to set up before service. The length of service is agreed when you book.

What if the timings change?

It happens at most weddings. Food is served to order, so we can start when you are ready, even if that moves.

Do you do a taco bar?

We can. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from.

Can you come to a private house?

Yes, if the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Tell us about the drive, gates and any slopes, and we will tell you honestly whether it works.

What do you need at the venue?

The main things are access and a level spot: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. Send us a photo and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.

How much is a food truck for an event?

It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the length of service and the location. Send us the details for a quote.

Organising for someone else?

Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll talk you through the process. We can work with your facilities team on access and timings.

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.
