About our wedding Mexican catering in Little London

A Mexican menu makes mixed diets easier: there are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, corn tortillas for gluten-free guests and allergen information for every dish. It works well for engagement parties at home and blessings and vow renewals, with fresh guacamole and salsas, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast and tacos.

Rural weddings around Little London have a charm of their own, and a food truck by the barn or marquee adds to it. Plan for access, soft ground and wet-weather cover for guests. You can book food, drinks or both, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

For planners, venues and organisers

For repeat events, such as annual staff parties or seasonal fairs, let us know your dates early, so we can check the date.

Hosting a party at home? Send us a photo of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we will let you know if it is a good fit.

Planning for every diet

Most events have a mix of diets. To plan for them:

  • Ask about your date as soon as you have one
  • Ask about diets and allergies with your RSVPs
  • Put us in touch with your venue
  • Think about a covered space for wet weather

The truck or trailer can be placed where guests can see it, which makes a good photo.

Extra salsas and toppings make the taco bar look generous.

How we price wedding Mexican catering

These are the factors that matter most:

  • Food, drinks or both
  • How many staff you need
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Whether you need disposables

Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so share your ideas with us. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

Getting an accurate quote

The more we know about your wedding, the better we can plan. Please include:

  • Your menu ideas
  • The date and time of the event
  • The venue or postcode
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground

Still deciding on the menu? No problem: give us the basics about your wedding, and we will make suggestions. When you are ready, send us your details through our quote form.

How it works

We work to your timings. If speeches run late or the photos take longer, tell us and we’ll adjust the start of service where we can. For a summer wedding in Little London, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, which means evening food is generally served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it is dark by about 3:55pm.

  1. First, we check availability for your date.
  2. You pick the menu with us.
  3. We confirm access and the serving spot with your coordinator.
  4. Guests build their tacos at the taco bar or order at the hatch.
  5. After serving, we clear away.

Before we arrive

  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
  • Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time
  • Let us know the timings for the day

How to get a price

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, plus any dietary needs, and we’ll reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. Just send a quick message through our quote form.

Before you choose a spot

Everything is served from our food truck or trailer, so where we park matters. These are the things we check:

  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
  • A route in that is wide and tall enough, with soft ground checked in advance
  • A serving point within easy walk of the reception

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly.

Questions from Little London

Is it possible to have you in Colekitchen Down?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we will send what they need from us.

We’re having a ceremony at Old St Peter and St Paul's Church: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Tell us where the reception will be.

How spicy is the food?

We can keep it mild, with hotter salsas on the side for anyone who wants more heat.

What do you need at the venue?

The main things are access and a level spot: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. If in doubt, send us a picture of the space and the way in.

Do you give allergen information?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, with allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we cannot promise anything is completely allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.

What if the photos overrun?

It happens at most weddings. Food is served to order, so we can start when you are ready, even if that moves.

Do you do a taco bar?

Yes, a taco bar is one of the ways we serve. Tell us about your space and numbers and we’ll suggest the best set-up.

What food and drinks do you offer?

Every menu is agreed with you. Fillings could include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. Our sample menu has more ideas.

Can I do a taco night myself?

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it’s more work than it looks. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Read our guide to taco bars.

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

How it compares

Many food trucks only cover evening food. We can cater the wedding breakfast too, so one caterer covers the day. There’s no one-size-fits-all price for wedding Mexican catering. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Contact us for a quote.

Why book with us

  • Served fresh from our food truck or trailer
  • A plan agreed before the day
  • Book food, drinks or both
  • Every guest catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included
