Wedding Mexican catering in Albury, from our food truck or trailer

A food truck or trailer suits barns, marquees, gardens and venues with hardstanding, provided there’s safe access and level, firm ground. It suits engagement parties at home and vow renewals and blessings, with quesadillas, tacos and fresh guacamole and salsas.

Rural weddings around Albury have a charm of their own, and a food truck by the barn or marquee adds to it. Plan access, ground and cover in case of rain. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.

Albury weddings: local tips

Albury is about 4 miles south-east of Guildford, in Surrey. Whether your wedding is in the middle of Albury or on the outskirts, wedding Mexican catering works the same way: fresh service from our food truck or trailer, every diet planned for and a clear quote. We cover all 395 towns and villages in Surrey, wherever the truck or trailer can get in.

If you are marrying at a church near Albury, such as Church of St Peter and St Paul, a reception in a garden, field or venue nearby keeps the day flowing. Service can start as guests arrive. Historic houses near Albury include Chilworth Manor (1.5 miles west) and Clandon Park (2.2 miles north). If your reception is at a historic house or estate, ask early about its rules on outside caterers and vehicles. With the Surrey Hills National Landscape within about 2 miles, there are country venues, barns and gardens nearby. Ask your venue about vehicle access and ground conditions for a truck or trailer.

Anywhere in GU5, we can bring the truck or trailer to your guests, from busy streets to quiet lanes. Streets in the area include Weston Fields, Church Lane and Albury Street, and a wedding on any of them can work if the truck or trailer can park nearby. Nearby, we also cater weddings in Albury Heath (1 mile south-east), Little London (1 mile south-east), Shere (1 mile east), Gomshall (2 miles east) and East Clandon (2 miles north). Within a short drive, we also cover Guildford (4 miles north-west), Woking (7 miles north-west), Camberley (13 miles north-west), Epsom (13 miles north-east), Horley (14 miles east) and Redhill (14 miles east).

A little further out are Shere Museum (1.5 miles east) and Guildford Castle (3.4 miles west). Green spaces nearby include Combe Bottom and Silent Pool.

  • Pubs nearby include The Drummond Arms (under half a mile north-west)

What affects the price in Albury

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, depending on:

  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • Serving staff
  • Whether you need disposables

Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you can choose what you need.

What we need to know

To speed things up, tell us:

  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground
  • Expected numbers
  • A picture of where we’d park

Most quotes start with a few simple details: the date, where the event is, how many guests and any dietary needs. To send them, use our quote form.

Questions from Albury

Can you cater a reception after a service at Church of St Peter and St Paul?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Tell us where the reception will be.

Which station is closest to Albury?

Chilworth station, about 1.3 miles west of the centre.

When should we book?

As soon as you have a date. Popular dates go first, so it pays to ask early.

Can you cater the whole day?

Yes. A taco bar works well as a wedding breakfast, and tacos or nachos make good evening food.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, and we plan them in from the start. Tell us your numbers when you ask for a quote.

Is the food made fresh?

We cook to order in our food truck or trailer kitchen, or serve from a taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

Is the food suitable for children?

Yes, children are easy to plan for. Tell us how many and roughly how old, and we’ll plan the menu with them in mind.

Can guests build their own tacos?

Yes. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from. Read our taco bar guide.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we’ll do the serving.

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

Catering for every guest

A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Try these:

  • Add your band and photographer to the numbers
  • Let us know about severe allergies in writing
  • Think about a covered space for wet weather
  • Share your running order, including speeches

A taco bar is laid out on a table, and guests come up table by table if you like.

Loaded nachos make easy evening food.

Planning the serving area

We will agree the spot with you before the day. It needs to meet a few simple requirements:

  • Agreement from the venue to bring a food truck or trailer on site
  • Clear vehicle access: gate widths, height limits and the ground checked before the day
  • Some distance from houses and neighbours

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly before booking.

What we offer

  • Guacamole and salsas
  • Evening tacos
  • Burritos and bowls
  • Nachos to share
  • Margarita bar

What happens on the day

When we arrive, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. Service starts at the time we have agreed, so everything runs to your schedule. Golden-hour photos in Albury at midsummer come around 9:20pm, which helps us time evening food around your photos. In late May, sunset is about 8:55pm, and in late September about 7:05pm.

  1. Tell us the date, the venue, day and evening numbers and your plans.
  2. You get a suggested wedding menu and a quote to match.
  3. We agree access, timings, power and water with you and your venue.
  4. We arrive, set up and serve the food at the agreed times.
  5. We pack down after service and leave our area tidy.
