Planning an event in Normandy?
Normandy: your questions answered
Will you travel to a small place like Normandy?
Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.
Is Normandy close to London?
About 30 miles from central London, and well within our area.
What happens if it rains?
We can keep serving from the truck or trailer in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, like a marquee or gazebo.
Do you do parties at home?
That depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Tell us about the space and we’ll advise.
Can you handle dietary needs at our wedding?
Yes. We plan vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options, with corn tortillas for gluten-free guests, plus allergen information for every dish.
Do you take everything away?
We pack down and leave our area tidy. Let us know the venue’s rules on waste and we will confirm the arrangements with your quote.
Do you cater for vegetarian guests?
Yes, and we plan them in from the start. Tell us your numbers when you ask for a quote, and we’ll keep their options separate.
Where do you cater?
We cater across London and the South East, Surrey included. See all areas.
Wedding Mexican catering in Normandy, served fresh
Evening guests want something hot, quick and filling, and tacos or nachos from the truck or trailer do the job without stopping the dancing for long. It suits engagement celebrations and civil partnerships and vow renewals, serving burrito bowls, loaded nachos and evening tacos.
There’s something special about a country wedding near Normandy, and a food truck by the barn or marquee adds to it. Plan access, ground and cover in case of rain. Everything is prepared fresh for your wedding and served from our food truck or trailer, so guests get it at its best.
Where the truck can go in Normandy
The route in matters as much as the spot itself. We need:
- Permission from the venue or landowner
- Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer
- Details of power and water on site, agreed when you book
If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think.
Popular choices
- Taco bar wedding breakfast
- Nachos to share
- Margarita bar
- Evening tacos

Can I do a taco night myself?
Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Contact us for a quote to compare.
A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it’s more work than it looks. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.
For event organisers in Normandy
For larger events, we plan serving points around your timings, so everyone is served promptly. Tell us how long you have for food and drinks.
Throwing a party at home? Send us a photo of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we’ll let you know if it’s a good fit.
How we price wedding Mexican catering
The price comes down to a few factors:
- Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
- What the venue already provides
- Parking and the route in
- Serving staff
Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there’s no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.
Getting an accurate quote
To check availability and price, we need:
- Roughly how many adults and children
- Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
- What power and water the site has
- The address or venue name

How it works
We get there well before you want to serve, then set up and prepare everything. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. A winter wedding in Normandy gets dark early, at about 3:55pm in December, so evening guests will be queuing in the dark. Festoon lights by the truck help guests see the menu.
- We start by checking your date.
- You pick the menu with us.
- We confirm the plan with your venue.
- Food is served from the taco bar or the hatch.
- After serving, we clear away.
Preparing for the day
- Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
- Let us know who to talk to on the day
- Find out what power and water are available
How to get a price
It’s easy to get a price: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We’ll send you a clear quote.
