Wedding Mexican catering in Oakley, from our truck or trailer
Our drinks bar can serve margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas, with alcohol-free choices for drivers and children. Licensing is checked with you and the venue first. For garden and marquee weddings and food for evening guests, we’ll put together a menu of burrito bowls, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast and tacos and more.
For a smaller place like Oakley, a garden or farm wedding can be ideal. We need level ground and access. We serve from the hatch of our truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.
Planners, venues and businesses
Events in public spaces, like parks, normally need permission. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.
For larger events, we plan serving points around your timings, so guests are looked after quickly. Let us know how long the break is.
Catering for every guest
We cater for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests. To get it right:
- Tell us about guests with coeliac disease or severe allergies
- Ask about diets and allergies with your RSVPs
- Ask about your date as soon as you have one
- Put us in touch with your venue
Evening food is served at the agreed time, such as after the cake is cut.
Loaded nachos make easy evening food.

FAQs for Oakley
How far is Oakley from London?
Roughly 50 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.
Which station should guests use for Oakley?
The closest is Overton station, roughly 3.7 miles away.
Do you do margaritas?
Yes. The drinks bar can be added to food or booked on its own, with alcohol-free options such as aguas frescas. We will check the licensing for alcohol with you.
Can you cater for all our guests’ diets?
Yes. There are vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests, plus allergen information for every dish.
Do you need power and water?
That depends on the set-up, and we agree power and water with you before the day. Let us know whether there’s a supply near where we’ll park.
How is the food prepared?
We slow-cook fillings ahead, then finish them and keep them hot at your event. Tortillas are warmed on site, and salsas and guacamole are made fresh.
How long are you on site?
That depends on your event and menu. We agree arrival, service and pack-down times with you to suit your day.
What happens if it rains?
Rain does not normally stop service from the truck or trailer. It is worth planning a covered area for guests, and tell us if heavy rain could make the ground soft.
Comparing your options
Some caterers only do the evening. We can do the main meal as well, so one caterer covers the day. Larger events can cost less per head, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.

DIY taco night or a caterer?
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Read our guide to taco bars.
Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

What happens on the day
On the day, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. Service starts at the time we’ve agreed, planned around your event. In Oakley, midsummer sunset is about 9:25pm, and by late September it’s nearer 7:10pm, which means evening food is generally served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it’s dark by about 4:00pm.
- First, we check availability for your date.
- You choose the fillings, sides and extras.
- We confirm the plan with your venue.
- Guests build their tacos at the taco bar or order at the hatch.
- We serve, then pack down.
Before we arrive
