Wedding Mexican catering for Romford events

Getting married in Romford?

Romford is in Greater London. From the centre of Romford to the outskirts, wedding Mexican catering works the same way: a truck or trailer at your event, options for every diet and a clear price. We cover 764 places across Greater London, from the larger towns to small villages, wherever the truck or trailer can get in. We cater right across the region, from Romford to London (13 miles away).

Nearby historic houses include Hare Hall (1.4 miles north-east) and Rainham Hall (4 miles south). A listed house can make a beautiful backdrop, but many have firm rules on vehicles, so raise the food truck with them at your first visit. With a ceremony at a church such as Parish Church of St Edward the Confessor, the simplest plan is a reception close by, so guests aren’t travelling far before they eat. We can set up while the photos are taken.

We serve at weddings all over RM1, RM7, RM11 and RM2 and the streets around it. That could mean a wedding at a home with a drive on High Street, Market Place and Market Link or the roads around them. Romford is on the A1251, so it is easy for us to reach with the truck or trailer. For weddings just outside Romford, we cover Rush Green (1 mile south-west), Collier Row (1 mile north), Rise Park (1 mile north), Becontree Heath (1 mile south-west) and Chadwell Heath (2 miles west). We also cater in nearby towns such as London (13 miles south-west), City of Westminster (15 miles west), Marylebone (15 miles west), St Pancras (13 miles west), Shoreditch (12 miles west) and Walthamstow (9 miles west).

Nearby you’ll also find Dagenham (1.5 miles south-west) and The Brewery (within half a mile south-west). Open spaces near Romford include The Chase Nature Reserve.

  • Local schools include Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls (0.8 miles east) and St. Edward's Church of England School (1.2 miles west)
  • Nearby, you’ll find The Moon & Stars pub (within half a mile east)

Wedding Mexican catering in Romford, from our food truck or trailer

Your wedding menu is agreed with you, perhaps with fillings such as carnitas, chicken tinga or birria, alongside vegan choices like black beans or spiced mushrooms. For gatherings the day after a wedding and weddings in a marquee or garden, we’ll put together a menu of burrito bowls, loaded nachos and quesadillas and more.

For a wedding in Romford, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast or tacos as evening food can both work. Narrow streets mean we plan the arrival carefully, and a parking suspension may be needed at some venues. We will check the space, access and power with you before the day, so set-up goes smoothly.

Prices and what affects them

These are the factors that matter most:

  • The menu you choose
  • What the venue already provides
  • The number of people
  • Distance and access to the venue

Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you choose what goes in.

What we need to know

A few details help us give you an accurate quote. Here’s what to include:

  • The venue or postcode
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • The date and rough timings

Getting a quote is simple: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We will come back with a clear quote and a suggested menu.

Your questions about wedding Mexican catering in Romford

Is parking a problem for events in Romford?

It can be tricky, so tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway. A parking suspension may be needed, and the whole of Greater London is inside the ULEZ.

We’re having a ceremony at Parish Church of St Edward the Confessor: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.

Do you give allergen information?

Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we do that for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

Will you talk to our venue?

Yes, and it saves you passing messages. Introduce us and we’ll sort the details.

How much space do you need?

The main things are access and a level spot: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. Send us a photo and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.

Do you cater in Romford?

We do. Romford is one of the places we cover. Send us your date to check availability.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, and we plan them in from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect.

What if our speeches run late?

Tell us and we’ll adjust. We keep in touch with your venue on the day and serve when you are ready.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Every guest is catered for, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free included. To get it right:

  • Check the venue’s rules for outside caterers and vehicles
  • Ask about your date as soon as you have one
  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP cards
  • Count day and evening guests separately

For a taco bar, fillings, salsas and toppings go out on a serving table, and guests can be called up by table.

Tell us if you need plates, cutlery or staff, and we’ll confirm what’s possible with your quote.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

How it compares

A taco bar is less formal than a plated meal, but with good presentation it still feels special. Access, parking and the distance to your venue can affect the price, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. Your quote confirms the full price.

What you get with us

  • Service planned around your numbers
  • Menus chosen with you
  • Access, space and power checked in advance
  • Options for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests

Read our prices page and the cost guide.

How the day works

When service finishes, we pack up and leave our area tidy. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. At midsummer, sunset in Romford is about 9:20pm, so we can time the evening food around your photos. In late May, sunset is about 8:50pm, and in late September about 7:05pm.

  1. Tell us the date, the venue, day and evening numbers and your plans.
  2. Together we choose a taco bar, evening food or both, and we send a quote.
  3. We agree access, timings, power and water with you and your venue.
  4. On the day we set up and serve when your running order says.
  5. Once service is done, we pack away quietly.

Preparing for the day

  • Let us know the timings for the day
  • Ask the venue about power and water
  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site

Ask for a quote

We quote for each event separately, so the price fits what you actually want. To ask for one, send us your details through our quote form.
