Wedding Mexican catering for St Cross events

Wedding Mexican catering in St Cross, served fresh

Wedding taco bars feel relaxed, generous and a little different. Everyone fills their own tortillas from the fillings, salsas and toppings, and the queue becomes a chance to chat. For marquee and garden weddings and blessings and vow renewals, we’ll put together a menu of loaded nachos, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast and fresh guacamole and salsas and more.

In St Cross, a local ceremony and a marquee reception is a personal choice. A truck or trailer parked by the marquee fits right in. Let us know about gates and ground for the truck or trailer. We turn up ready to serve, and tidy our own area afterwards.

How to compare caterers

Before you choose a spot

Everything is served from our truck or trailer, so the spot needs a little planning. Here’s what we look for:

  • Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking
  • A place for the truck or trailer near where guests are eating
  • Hardstanding or firm, level ground to park on

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

How it works

We work to your timings. If speeches run late or the photos take longer, tell us and we will adjust the start of service where we can. In St Cross, midsummer sunset is about 9:25pm, and by late September it is nearer 7:10pm, so evening tacos are usually served in daylight in high summer. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it is dark by about 4:00pm.

  1. Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
  2. We plan the wedding breakfast, evening food or both with you.
  3. Timings are agreed with your venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue.
  5. We pack down and leave our area tidy.

Preparing for the day

  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
  • Let us know the timings for the day

Questions from St Cross

Can you cater a reception after a service at St. Cross Church?

How far is St Cross from central London?

About 62 miles from central London.

Can you liaise with the venue coordinator?

Of course. We will speak to your venue about access and timings.

How long do you serve for?

What if the photos overrun?

We adapt. We stay in touch with your coordinator and serve when you’re ready.

What areas do you cover?

We cover London and the South East, Hampshire included. See all areas.

Can you cater the whole day?

Yes: one part of the day, or both main meals. Tell us what you have in mind.

How much is a food truck for an event?

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually need. Tell us your date and numbers and we’ll reply with a quote.
