How the day works

When service finishes, we pack up and leave our area tidy. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. In Walton on the Hill, midsummer sunset is about 9:20pm, and by late September it is nearer 7:05pm, so evening tacos are generally served in daylight in high summer. For autumn and winter weddings, when it’s dark by about 3:55pm in December, plan lighting around the truck or trailer.

  1. Send us your wedding date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we plan the food for your day.
  3. We agree timings and access with the venue.

How we price wedding Mexican catering

We quote for your event, and the price is based on:

  • What the venue already provides
  • What’s on the menu
  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • How many staff you need

Pricing depends on the event. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Contact us for a quote.

A hog roast is popular at weddings, but harder for vegetarian and vegan guests. Separate fillings and toppings cover every diet. Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so it helps to tell us about your venue. The full price is confirmed in your quote.

  • Tell us how many evening guests to expect

  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP cards

On the day, we work with your coordinator or toastmaster, so you can enjoy yourselves.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.
