Wedding Mexican catering for your wedding in Warden

We can do the wedding breakfast, evening food, or the two together. A taco bar for the meal and loaded nachos or tacos for the evening works well. It works well for barn and farm weddings and big weddings with every diet, with tacos, fresh guacamole and salsas and burrito bowls.

Rural weddings around Warden have a charm of their own, and tacos served from a truck in a field add to it. Plan access, ground and cover in case of rain. Guests are served from our food truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan the service around your numbers.

How the day works

Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we’ll help you choose a spot with room for a queue. Rain doesn’t typically stop us serving, though guests will want somewhere covered to stand or sit. Golden-hour photos in Warden at midsummer come around 9:15pm, which helps us time evening food around your photos. In late May, sunset is about 8:50pm, and in late September about 7:00pm.

  1. We start with your date, venue, guest numbers and ideas for the day.
  2. We plan the food with you: wedding breakfast, evening food or both.
  3. We confirm access, the serving spot and the running order with the venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue, around speeches and photos.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

Getting ready for the day

  • Arrange somewhere covered for guests to eat
  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
  • Ask the venue about power and water

Planning for every diet

Most events have a mix of diets. To cater well for them:

  • Plan a covered area for eating in case of rain
  • Flag any coeliac guests or serious allergies
  • Enquire early for summer Saturdays
  • Put us in touch with your venue

If speeches or photos run over, tell us, and we will adjust when we serve.

Tell us if you need plates, cutlery or staff, and we will set it out in the quote.

Working with your venue

Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we will keep you updated on timings and set-up.

If you are planning an event on someone’s behalf, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we’re happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It saves passing messages back and forth.

What we need at the venue

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but there are a few things to check:

  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
  • A serving spot close to the marquee or reception area
  • A sensible distance from buildings and neighbours

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think before booking.

Warden: your questions answered

How far is Warden from London?

Roughly 44 miles from the centre of London, and we cover it.

Will you travel to a small place like Warden?

Yes, we cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Tell us about lanes, gates, ground and parking.

Is the food suitable for children?

Yes. We can keep dishes mild, and simple options such as quesadillas or nachos can be part of the menu. Include children in your numbers.

How long are you on site?

We get there well before service to set up. The length of service is agreed when you book, along with pack-down.

What food and drinks do you offer?

Mexican street food and drinks: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, plus salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Do you bring plates and cutlery?

We confirm that with your quote. Let us know what the venue supplies.

Do you give allergen information?

Our menus are planned with allergies in mind, nut allergies included, and give allergen information for every dish. We plan carefully and keep options separate, though we cannot promise a dish is allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.

How many guests can you serve?

It depends on the menu and how long service runs, but around 50 to 400 guests is the usual range. For anything outside that, ask us.

What wedding Mexican catering costs

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, depending on:

  • The menu you choose
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Plates, napkins and cutlery

Access, parking and the distance to your venue can affect the price, so it helps to tell us about your venue. The full price is confirmed in your quote.

What to tell us

The more we know about your wedding, the better we can plan. Try to include:

  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground
  • What power and water the site has
  • What you’d like on the menu
  • Where the event is

The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: the venue, the timings, food or drinks or both, and the access. When you’re ready, fill in our quote form.
