Corporate Mexican catering in Southcote
How we price corporate Mexican catering
Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, because of:
- Parking and the route in
- The number of people
- Staff for serving and the bar
- Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: serving hours, staff, disposables, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.
What to tell us
You don’t need every detail fixed to get a quote, but it helps to know:
- Your date and when you want service to start
- Your menu ideas
- Roughly how many adults and children
- Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
Send us the date, your venue or RG30 postcode and guest numbers, plus any dietary needs, and you will get menu ideas and a price. Just tell us about it on our contact page.
How our corporate Mexican catering works in Southcote
Corporate events need fast, inclusive food that gets people chatting. Mexican street food from a truck or trailer does all three. For fundraisers and company summer parties, we can serve a build-your-own taco bar, nachos to share and burrito bowls.
Around Southcote, team days can be at rural venues or the office. A truck or trailer suits all of them, with level ground and access. We cater for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests, with allergen information for everything we serve.
Catering for every guest
With a little notice, most diets are easy. We suggest:
- Give us diet totals and allergy details
- Plan where the truck or trailer will park
- Confirm vehicle access with facilities
- Ask staff about diets in advance
Every dish is labelled, and allergen information is on hand.

Comparing your options
Barbecues cook in batches and struggle with diets. Separate fillings cover every diet. The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Give us your numbers and we will quote.

FAQs for Southcote
Is it possible to have you in Calcot Park?
It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we will send what they need from us.
Is Southcote close to London?
It is about 40 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.
Can you keep it mild?
It’s up to you: we can keep the main dishes mild, with hotter salsas served separately.
Do you provide allergen information for each dish?
Our menus are planned with allergies in mind, nut allergies included, with allergen information for every dish. We plan carefully and keep options separate, though we can’t promise a dish is allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.
Can you cater in a back garden?
It depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Tell us about the space and we will advise.
What’s on the menu?
Mexican street food and drinks: tacos and build-your-own taco bars, burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. A drinks bar is available too.
How much is a food truck for an event?
Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually need. Tell us your date and numbers and we’ll reply with a quote.
Can guests build their own tacos?
Yes. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings.
Can I do a taco night myself?
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Read our guide to taco bars.
For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, with allergen information for every dish.

Step by step
We need a level, firm spot we can drive the truck or trailer onto, and we agree power and water arrangements before the day. A picture of the space helps. An end-of-May team evening in Southcote stays light until about 8:55pm, while late September brings it forward to about 7:10pm. Plan the timings with the daylight in mind.
- Tell us the date, the site, numbers, timings and diets.
- We confirm a menu and a quote, plus any documents the site needs from caterers.
- We arrange arrival times and access with your facilities team.
- On the day, food is served from the truck, the trailer or a taco-bar station to your timings.
- We pack down and leave the space as we found it.
How to prepare
- Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
- Arrange somewhere covered for guests to eat
- Confirm numbers and diets before the day
Ask for a quote
Each quote is tailored to your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we’ll confirm whether we are available that day.
Planning help
Organising for someone else?
Many venues have rules for outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.
If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can check the date.

Planning the serving area
We will be honest if a space won’t work, and suggest an alternative. The main points are:
- A sensible distance from buildings and neighbours
- A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand
- A clear area in front of the hatch for a queue
If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think before booking.
