Mexican street food makes mixed diets simple. There are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests, and allergen information is available for every dish. At anniversaries and engagements and milestone birthdays, we’ll put together a menu of burrito bowls, burritos and loaded nachos.

In a hamlet or village like Botolphs, your own garden or a neighbour’s field can make a good venue. Gates, verges and soft ground are worth mentioning when you enquire. Access, space and power are agreed with you beforehand, so set-up goes smoothly.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, with allergen information for every dish.

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

Why choose Mexican catering in Botolphs?

Burgers and pizza are what guests often expect. Mexican street food stands out. Got a budget? Let us know, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. Even a simple menu can feel generous.

Why us?

  • A clear quote
  • Food and drinks from one caterer, if you want both

How the day works

Once service is over, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. Evenings in Botolphs stay light until about 9:20pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm. For anything running past sunset, think about lights near the hatch.

  1. You tell us the date, the venue, rough guest numbers and any dietary needs.
  2. We put together a menu around your guests and quote for it.
  3. We check access, power and water with you or the venue.
  4. On the day we arrive, set up and serve hot food from our truck or trailer.
  5. Once everyone has eaten, we tidy our serving area and head off.

Diets, allergies and planning

We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests. To get it right:

  • Include at least one vegan filling
  • Let us know if a guest is coeliac
  • Let us know about any other food at the event
  • Ask guests about diets and allergies with your invitations

If you’ve chosen a taco bar, the fillings, salsas and toppings go out on a serving table, and guests help themselves while we keep it topped up.

Burrito bowls are a good choice for anyone avoiding tortillas, and they’re easy to adapt for different diets.

How we price Mexican catering

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, depending on:

  • The number of people
  • Plates, napkins and cutlery
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • The length of service

When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: serving hours, staff, disposables, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.

Details that help

You don’t need every detail fixed to get a quote, but these help:

  • A picture of the space, if it is a garden or field
  • The address or venue name
  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • Your menu ideas

To get a price, just send a quick message through our quote form. Give us the details of your event, and we’ll suggest a menu to suit.
