Mexican catering near Littlehampton

How our Mexican catering works in Littlehampton

With mobile Mexican catering, we bring the kitchen with us: we park our truck or trailer on site and serve hot food from it. No kitchen is needed on site. On the menu are a build-your-own taco bar, burritos and tacos, which works well for christenings and family parties and leaving parties.

In Littlehampton, an event with a food truck usually means a garden with drive access, a hall or club with a car park, or a hired venue. All of them can work, as long as the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Guests are served from our food truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan the service around your numbers.

How the day works

We get there well before you want to serve, then set up and prepare everything. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. A December event in Littlehampton will be in the dark from about 4:00pm, so a well-lit spot for the queue makes a big difference. At midsummer, the light holds until around 9:20pm.

  1. Share the date, the venue and how many are coming.
  2. We plan a menu that covers every diet.
  3. We check the route in and where the truck or trailer will stand.
  4. Food is served from the hatch or a taco-bar table.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

How to prepare

  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
  • Share the running order, including any speeches
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely

How to compare caterers

Littlehampton: venues, access and local tips

Littlehampton is about 6 miles west of Worthing, in West Sussex. From the centre of Littlehampton to the outskirts, Mexican catering works the same way: a truck or trailer at your event, options for every diet and a clear price. Littlehampton is one of 371 towns and villages in West Sussex we cover. Our truck and trailer cover the area from Littlehampton to Brighton (about 18 miles away).

Parks such as Mewsbrook Park typically need the owner’s permission for vehicles and catering, so ask before you plan an event there. Close to Littlehampton are historic houses such as Ecclesden Manor (2.9 miles north-east). If your event is at a historic house or estate, check its rules on outside caterers and vehicles early. Venues in and around the South Downs National Park, within about 7 miles of Littlehampton, sometimes limit where vehicles can go. Ask yours about access for a truck or trailer before booking. Littlehampton is within about a mile of the sea, so for a seaside event we plan around the wind. The truck or trailer needs firm ground rather than sand or shingle, and seafront spots typically need permission from the council or landowner.

We cater events across the BN17 and BN16 postcode area. That could mean an event at a home with a drive on High Street, Parkside Avenue and Norman Close. With the A259 and A284 close by, Littlehampton is easy for us to reach. Neighbouring places where we cater events include Toddington (1 mile north), Rustington (1 mile east), Wick (1 mile north-west), Lyminster (1 mile north-west) and Climping (2 miles west). Larger places within reach include Worthing (6 miles east), Bognor Regis (7 miles west), Chichester (11 miles west), Selsey (12 miles south-west), Shoreham-by-Sea (12 miles east) and Lancing (9 miles east). Littlehampton is one of the larger places we cover in West Sussex, with lots of choice for events.

A little further out are Zachary Merton Hospital (1.4 miles east) and Lyminster Siege Castle (2.8 miles north). Open spaces near Littlehampton include Highdown Hill and WWT Arundel.

  • Nearby schools include Littlehampton College (less than half a mile north) and River Beach Primary School (under half a mile west)
  • Pubs nearby include New Inn Hotel (0.5 miles south)

Planning for every diet

A Mexican menu is easy to plan for mixed diets, because options can be kept separate. A few tips:

  • Give us separate numbers for children
  • Send allergy details to us in writing
  • Include at least one vegan filling
  • Ask the venue whether food trucks are allowed

We arrive early enough to set up calmly. Someone from the venue just needs to point us to the agreed spot.

Extra salsas and toppings can widen the choice.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone has to serve all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

What Mexican catering costs

These are the factors that matter most:

  • Food, drinks or both
  • What the venue already provides
  • Parking and the route in
  • Guest numbers

If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu that fits. Even a simple menu can feel generous.

Getting an accurate quote

The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Try to include:

  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • Your menu ideas
  • A picture of where we’d park

The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: the venue, the timings, food or drinks or both, and the access. To send your details, use our quote form.

Mexican catering or something else?

Platters dropped off in the morning are easy but forgettable. Hot food served from a truck feels like part of the event. Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you can choose what you need.

Why book with us

  • A quote that sets out what’s included
  • Menus for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests

Questions from Littlehampton

We are having a ceremony at The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Tell us where the reception will be.

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Mewsbrook Park?

Only if the landowner, often the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we will help with the information they need from us.

Do you need power and water?

Tell us what the site has, such as a supply from the venue near where we’ll park, and we will confirm what we need with your quote.

How many guests can you cater for?

Truck and trailer service normally suits around 50 to 400 guests. Bigger festivals and smaller parties are looked at case by case.

Do you do a taco bar?

Yes, a taco bar is one of the ways we serve. Tell us about your space and numbers and we’ll recommend how to serve.

What space do you need?

We need level, firm ground or hardstanding, access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s permission. We confirm power and water when you book.

What if it rains?

We can still serve in the rain. Plan a marquee, gazebo or indoor space for guests to eat in.

How much space do you need?

A level, firm spot for the truck or trailer, with access wide and high enough to drive in, plus the venue’s permission. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.
