Mexican catering for your event in Colwood

Fillings are slow-cooked in advance and kept hot on site, while the salsas and guacamole are made fresh. Tortillas are warmed as we serve. At office lunches and team days and fundraisers and school events, we will put together a menu of burritos, fresh salsas and guacamole and quesadillas.

In a small place like Colwood, events are typically in a garden, a field or a nearby hall. Country lanes, long drives and gates are fine if we know about them, and soft ground after rain is worth mentioning. We will check the space, access and power with you before the day, so there are no surprises on arrival.

For planners, venues and organisers

Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we’ll work to it.

If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can check the date.

Mexican catering or something else?

A cold buffet is simple but tends to sit out for hours. Tacos and burritos are made to order and served hot. Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.

What you get with us

  • Served fresh from our truck or trailer
  • Every guest catered for, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free included
  • A quote that sets out what’s included

How it works

When service finishes, we pack up and leave our area tidy. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. Daylight in Colwood runs to about 8:50pm in late May and 7:05pm in late September. Let us know if service will run after dark, and we will talk about lighting.

  1. First, send us a few details about your event.
  2. We suggest fillings and extras and send a quote.
  3. We agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
  4. On the day we park up, set up and serve hot food to order.
  5. Once service ends, we clear away.

How to prepare

  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in
  • Tell us what power and water the site has
  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day

How to get a price

We need only a few details to quote: the date, where the event is, how many guests and any dietary needs. To send them, send us your details through our quote form.

Can I do a taco night myself?

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it’s more work than it looks. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.
