Our truck and trailer service tends to suit around 50 to 400 guests. Larger festivals and smaller parties are looked at case by case, so tell us your numbers. In a town the size of Crawley, street-food catering works at home, at hired venues and at work. Town-centre venues can have tight access or set loading times, so tell us how we can get in. Food and drinks can be booked together or separately, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

How it compares

A barbecue often means a host tied to the grill. Book us and the cooking happens in our truck or trailer. The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

Why book with us

  • A clear quote
  • A truck or trailer that comes to you
  • A plan agreed before the day
  • Book food, drinks or both

Take a look at our prices page and what Mexican catering costs.

What affects the price in Crawley

Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:

  • Whether you need disposables
  • How many staff you need
  • What’s on the menu
  • Food, drinks or both

Got a budget? Let us know, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.

Getting an accurate quote

When you contact us, it helps to tell us:

  • What you’d like on the menu
  • The venue or postcode
  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • Your date and when you want service to start

Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you actually want. To ask for one, send a quick message through our quote form.

Questions from Crawley

Is it possible to have you in Tilgate Park?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we’ll send what they need from us.

Is Crawley close to London?

It’s about 27 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

What do you need at the venue?

Access and level ground matter most: a level spot to park, space for guests to queue and a little room for a serving table. If in doubt, send us a picture of the space and the way in.

Do you come to Crawley?

Yes. We cover London and the South East, and Crawley is within our area and the rest of West Sussex. For a quote, send us your details through our quote form.

What about power on site?

That depends on the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

How long are you on site?

We arrive in good time to set up before service. Serving times are agreed with you in advance, along with pack-down.

What does Mexican catering cost?

We quote for each event, based on what you actually need. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas and we will reply with a quote.

Can guests build their own tacos?

Yes. A build-your-own taco bar can be served from the truck or a serving station, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from.

Planning for every diet

With a little notice, most diets are easy. Our advice:

  • Have a covered area ready in case of rain
  • Guests with serious allergies should speak to us in advance
  • Check that your venue allows outside caterers and vehicles
  • Include at least one vegan filling

On the day, we arrive in good time to park up and get ready. All we need is someone to show us the agreed spot.

Burrito bowls suit guests who’d rather skip the tortilla.

The process

We arrive in good time before service, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. Around midsummer it stays light in Crawley until about 9:20pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:05pm, so summer evening service is normally in daylight. In December it is dark by about 3:55pm, so winter events need lighting around the truck and the queue.

  1. Share the date, the venue and how many are coming.
  2. We plan a menu that covers every diet.
  3. We check the route in and where the truck or trailer will stand.
  4. Guests order at the hatch or build their own at the taco bar.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

How to prepare

  • Let us know the timings for the day
  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
