Mexican catering in Crouch End, served fresh
Keep it simple or go further: a taco menu, or tacos plus loaded nachos, quesadillas and burrito bowls. Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can come from our drinks bar. Popular choices include burritos, loaded nachos and a build-your-own taco bar, which works well for festivals, fairs and markets and retirement and leaving parties.
Events in Crouch End are often in courtyards, office forecourts, hired venues and gardens with side access. London gardens are often reached only through the house, so the truck or trailer may need to stay on a drive or the street, with permission. Tell us about the route in. We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests, and we give allergen information for every dish.

Before you choose a spot
Every venue is different, so we will ask about yours when you contact us. Generally, we look for:
- Agreement from the venue to bring a food truck or trailer on site
- Clear vehicle access: gate widths, height limits and the ground checked before the day
- Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer
As a London location, Crouch End is inside the ULEZ, and parking and loading take planning: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.
If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

Should I do it myself?
For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.
DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

Diets, allergies and planning
Nearly every event has some special diets. To cater well for them:
- Ask the venue whether food trucks are allowed
- Ask guests about diets and allergies with your invitations
- Count children separately
- Have a covered area ready in case of rain
On the day, we arrive in good time to park up and get ready. Someone from the venue just needs to point us to the agreed spot.
Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can be added from our drinks bar, with licensing checked with you.
Planners, venues and businesses
Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.
For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so guests are looked after quickly. Tell us how long you have for food and drinks.
What Mexican catering costs
The same guest numbers can mean different prices, depending on:
- How many staff you need
- Your choice of food and drinks
- Whether you need disposables
- Travel, parking and access
A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there’s no kitchen to hire. Contact us for a quote to compare.
What to tell us
The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Please include:
- The date and rough timings
- The address or venue name
- Gate widths, slopes and the ground
- What power and water the site has
The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: venue, timings, menu ideas and access. When you’re ready, tell us about it on our contact page.
How it works
Expect a friendly, organised team. Arrival and serving times are agreed beforehand, set up our truck or trailer, and serve without fuss. Evenings in Crouch End stay light until about 9:20pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm. For anything running past sunset, think about lights near the hatch.
- You tell us the date, the venue, rough guest numbers and any dietary needs.
- We suggest a sample menu and send a quote for your event.
- Together we confirm where the truck or trailer will park, plus power and water.
- On the day, we set up and serve from the truck or trailer, or from a taco-bar station.
- Once everyone has eaten, we tidy our serving area and head off.
How to prepare
- Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
- Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
- Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park

What about parking in Crouch End?
That depends on the street. A drive, a courtyard or a bay suspended by the council can all work, so tell us what’s outside your venue. The ULEZ covers all of Greater London.
Which station should guests use for Crouch End?
The closest is Crouch Hill station, roughly 0.7 miles away.
What does Mexican catering cost?
The price depends on numbers, menu, service time and where your event is. Contact us for a quote.
Do you take everything away?
We clear our own area when service is finished. For anything beyond that, such as guests’ tables, ask us.
How spicy is the food?
The food can be kept mild, and hotter salsas go on the side for guests who like heat.
Can you cater for children?
Yes, children are easy to plan for. Tell us how many and roughly how old, and we’ll plan the menu with them in mind.
What are your prices?
We quote for each event, based on guest numbers, the menu, the venue and timings. For a price, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

Yes, and we plan them in from the start. Tell us your numbers when you ask for a quote.
