Mexican catering in Hendon, served fresh

Tacos are the heart of the menu: warmed tortillas, a choice of fillings, and salsas, guacamole and toppings to finish. Burritos, burrito bowls, loaded nachos and quesadillas can sit alongside them. Popular choices include burritos, a build-your-own taco bar and quesadillas, and it suits weddings and evening receptions and fundraisers and school events.

Around Hendon, parking and loading are the main things to plan for a truck or trailer. Narrow streets and permit bays decide where we can stop, so let us know about off-street space, or whether the council will need to suspend a parking bay. All of Greater London, Hendon included, is inside the ULEZ. We plan the timings around your day, so service starts when you want it.

Why choose Mexican catering in Hendon?

Pizza and burger vans are familiar choices. Tacos, burritos and nachos feel a little different, while still being easy food most people enjoy. Pricing depends on the event. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Your quote sets it all out.

Take a look at how we price and our guide to catering costs.

Can I do a taco night myself?

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it is more work than it looks. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.

How we price Mexican catering

These are the factors that matter most:

  • Whether you need disposables
  • The length of service
  • The menu you choose
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food

FAQs for Hendon

Could you serve our guests after a service at Christ Church Hendon?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Send us the reception address.

Is parking a problem for events in Hendon?

It can be tricky, so tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway. Some streets may need a parking suspension from the council, and all of Greater London is inside the ULEZ.

What do you need at the venue?

We need level, firm ground or hardstanding, access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s permission. We confirm power and water when you book.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Our truck and trailer service typically suits events of around 50 to 400 guests. Smaller parties are quoted case by case, and festivals can be larger. Tell us your numbers.

Do you have dairy-free options?

Yes, on request. Tell us how many guests need dairy-free food, and we will include them in the plan.

What is mobile Mexican catering?

We bring our truck or trailer to your venue, cook to order and serve tacos, burritos and more from the hatch. You can also have a build-your-own taco bar.

How much space do you need?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, plus the venue’s permission. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

Who clears up?

We pack down and tidy our own area after service. For anything beyond that, such as guests’ tables, ask us.

The process

Your timings come first. If speeches run late or the photos take longer, tell us and we’ll adjust the start of service where we can. In Hendon, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so summer evening events are generally served in daylight. For winter events, when it’s dark by about 3:55pm, plan lighting where guests queue and eat.

  1. Share the date, the venue and how many are coming.
  2. Together we plan a menu around your guests’ diets.
  3. We confirm the way in and where we’ll park.
  4. Guests order at the hatch or build their own at the taco bar.
  5. We clear our serving area when everyone is fed.

Preparing for the day

  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day
