Mexican street food across NW9

Our Mexican catering in NW9

Food from a truck or trailer feels relaxed. Guests come up to the hatch, chat while they wait and take something hot back to their seats. Popular choices include a build-your-own taco bar, quesadillas and loaded nachos, which works well for family celebrations and school fairs and fundraisers.

It is a relaxed, well-organised set-up. Arrival and serving times are agreed beforehand, get the serving area ready, and get on with serving.

  1. Send us your date, numbers and venue.
  2. Together we plan a menu around your guests’ diets.
  3. We check the route in and where the truck or trailer will stand.
  4. Guests order at the hatch or build their own at the taco bar.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

Pricing in NW9

What’s on the menu

Burritos and burrito bowls

Rice, beans, a filling and toppings rolled in a large tortilla, or served as a bowl instead.

Quesadillas

A quesadilla is an easy favourite.

What we need at the venue

No two venues are the same, so we ask about the space before we confirm. Generally, we look for:

  • Some distance from houses and neighbours
  • Clear vehicle access: gate widths, height limits and the ground checked before the day
  • Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking

How it compares

With a barbecue, someone normally ends up stuck at the grill. With us, the cooking happens in our truck or trailer, so you can enjoy your event.

NW9 questions

What areas do you cover?

We cater across London and the South East, including Greater London. Find your area.

What access do you need?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, and the venue’s agreement. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

When do you arrive?

That depends on your event and menu. We agree arrival, service and pack-down times with you to suit your day.

Can we add a bar?

We can. Our Mexican drinks bar serves margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. We will check the licensing with you.

What happens if it rains?

We can serve from the hatch in the rain. It’s worth planning a covered area for guests, and tell us if heavy rain could make the ground soft.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

Yes, gluten-free options are available, using corn tortillas. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we can talk through how their food is prepared.

How far ahead should we book?

Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Ask about your date even if it is soon.
