How our Mexican catering works in World's End
You can keep the menu short or make it a feast: tacos on their own, or tacos with burritos, nachos and quesadillas. Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can come from our drinks bar. For markets and community events and big birthday celebrations, we can serve burritos, a build-your-own taco bar and fresh salsas and guacamole and more.
From a hired hall to a shared courtyard, events in World's End come in all shapes. Tell us how close we can park and about any narrow entrances. Guests are served from our food truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

What we need at the venue
No two venues are the same, so we ask about the space when you get in touch. In general, we need:
- A spot away from buildings, windows and neighbours
- A route in that is wide and tall enough, with soft ground checked in advance
- Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking
As a London location, World's End is inside the ULEZ, and parking and loading take planning: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.
If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think.

Catering for every guest
A Mexican menu is easy to plan for mixed diets, because options can be kept separate. A few tips:
- Let us know about any other food at the event
- Include at least one vegan filling
- Plan somewhere covered for guests to eat if it rains
- Tell us about coeliac guests, not just gluten-free preferences
We work around your timings, and adapt if they move.
A tray of loaded nachos works well to start.
Questions from World's End
Can you cater a reception after a service at St John's Church Centre?
Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.
Where would you park in World's End?
That depends on the street. A drive, a courtyard or a bay suspended by the council can all work, so tell us what’s outside your venue. The ULEZ covers all of Greater London.
When should we book?
As early as you can, especially for summer weekends. Ask about your date even if it’s soon.
What access do you need?
A level, firm spot for the truck or trailer, with access wide and high enough to drive in, plus the venue’s permission. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.
Can we add a bar?
Our drinks bar can be added to any booking, with bar staff serving margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. We will talk licensing through with you before the day.
How long are you on site?
That depends on your event and menu. Timings are agreed in advance to suit your day.
Can you keep it mild?
That is your choice: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.
Can you cater for special diets?
We plan carefully for diets and keep options separate, though we can’t guarantee a kitchen with no trace of any allergen. Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us first.
Planners, venues and businesses
Wedding planners and venue coordinators are welcome to contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.
Hosting a party at home? Send us a photo of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we will let you know if it is a good fit.
What affects the price in World's End
We will give you a clear quote. What affects it most:
- Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
- Travel, parking and access
- How many guests we’re serving
- How long we are needed on site
Access, parking and the distance to your venue can affect the price, so it helps to tell us about your venue. The full price is confirmed in your quote.
What to tell us
A few details help us give you an accurate quote. Here’s what’s useful:
- The address or venue name
- Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
- A picture of where we’d park
- Gate widths, slopes and the ground
Still deciding on the menu? That is fine: give us the basics about your event, and we’ll make suggestions. To start, fill in our quote form.
The process
Expect a friendly, organised team. We agree arrival and serving times in advance, get the serving area ready, and get on with serving. From late May to late September, sunset in World's End moves from about 8:50pm to 7:05pm. Let us know if service will run after dark, and we’ll talk about lighting.
- Begin with the date, the place and the numbers.
- We come back with menu ideas and a quote.
- Closer to the day, we confirm timings and arrangements.
- We serve hot food from our truck or trailer at the agreed time.
- We pack away when service is over.
How to prepare
- Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
- Tell us what power and water the site has
- Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
Getting a price
Send us the date, your venue or SW10 postcode and guest numbers, along with any dietary needs, and you will get menu ideas and a price. To get started, tell us about it on our contact page.

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.

About the menu
Loaded nachos
Crisp tortilla chips loaded with toppings, salsa and guacamole, made for sharing.
Build-your-own taco bar
A taco bar is relaxed and sociable, and guests with different diets can choose what suits them, with every dish labelled.
Comparing your options
With a barbecue, someone typically ends up stuck at the grill. Book us and the cooking happens in our truck or trailer. A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there is no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.
