When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we’ll set out what’s included.

Getting an accurate quote

Good planning starts with a few facts. Please include:

What’s on the menu

Margaritas

Margaritas suit a summer evening.

Soft drinks

There’s always something alcohol-free.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it’s more work than it looks. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Tips for a smooth bar

To get the most from the bar, it helps to:

  • Plan alcohol-free drinks for drivers
  • Share bar opening times
  • Let us know how many non-drinkers to expect
  • Have plenty of water available

We arrive in good time to set up the bar, so drinks are ready when you are.

A choice of soft drinks.

How the day works

The truck or trailer tends to draw a crowd, so we’ll help you choose a spot with room for a queue. Rain doesn’t normally stop us serving, but guests will need somewhere covered. A late-September party in Brewer Street loses the light at about 7:05pm, so margaritas after that will be served under lights. In late May, it stays light until about 8:50pm.

  1. Send us the date, venue and numbers.
  2. We talk through licensing with you.
  3. You choose the drinks with us.
  4. We serve drinks responsibly on the day.
  5. We pack down when the bar closes.

How to prepare

  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
  • Give us your final numbers and diets

Questions from Brewer Street

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Kitchen Copse?

Only with permission from whoever runs the park, often the council. Ask them first, and we’ll help with the information they need from us.

How far is Brewer Street from central London?

About 17 miles from central London.

What does a Mexican bar cost?

We quote for each event, based on numbers, drinks and hours. For a price, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

Yes, with corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.

Do you need electricity?

It depends on the event and the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

Do we need a licence for the bar?

Alcohol at an event needs the venue’s premises licence or a Temporary Event Notice. We’ll check the licensing with you. See GOV.UK for Temporary Event Notices.

Do you do parties at home?

That depends on access. If the truck or trailer cannot reach the garden, a drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission. Tell us about the space and we will advise.

Is there something for non-drinkers?

Every bar has alcohol-free choices, from aguas frescas to soft drinks.
