Mexican bar hire near Canons Park

Mexican bar hire or something else?

Bring-your-own is simple but uneven. A staffed bar means everyone is served. Extras, such as more dishes, extra drinks or a longer service, are quoted on request, so you choose what goes in.

What you get with us

  • A quote that sets out what’s included
  • Catering across Greater London, including Canons Park
  • A truck or trailer that comes to you
  • A plan agreed before the day

Mexican bar hire in Canons Park, from our food truck or trailer

Aguas frescas are light, fruity drinks: agua de jamaica made with hibiscus, horchata, tamarind and fruit waters. They’re alcohol-free, so every guest can enjoy them. It works well for licensed festivals and taco nights and themed parties, serving soft drinks, aguas frescas and agua de jamaica.

For a drinks reception in Canons Park, a courtyard, forecourt or venue with vehicle access suits the truck or trailer. Let us know about parking, permits and any parking suspension. We’ll check the space, access and power with you before the day, so set-up goes smoothly.

What affects the price in Canons Park

We’ll give you a clear quote. What affects it most:

  • Plates, napkins and cutlery
  • How long we’re needed on site
  • Food, drinks or both
  • Distance and access to the venue

Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.

What we need to know

Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:

  • The address or venue name
  • Expected numbers
  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • What you’d like on the menu

Can I do a taco night myself?

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Read our guide to taco bars.

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

About the menu

Agua de jamaica

Hibiscus water, sweet and tart.

Margaritas

A classic margarita, served cold, with or without a salted rim.

How the day works

It is a relaxed, well-organised set-up. We agree arrival and serving times in advance, set up our truck or trailer, and get on with serving. A late-September party in Canons Park loses the light at about 7:05pm, so a bar running later in the evening needs lamps or festoons. A late-May event keeps its daylight until about 8:55pm.

  1. First, we check your date.
  2. We suggest margaritas, beer, aguas frescas and alcohol-free choices.
  3. We agree where the bar goes.
  4. We set up and serve on cue.
  5. We tidy up at the end.

Getting ready for the day

  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day

Questions to ask before you book

Questions from Canons Park

Could you serve our guests after a service at Church of St Lawrence?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

What about parking in Canons Park?

That depends on the street. A drive, a courtyard or a bay suspended by the council can all work, so tell us what’s outside your venue. The ULEZ covers all of Greater London.

How much does the drinks bar cost?

There’s no fixed price list, because every event is different. Tell us your plans for a quote.

What food and drinks do you offer?

We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings could include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria and vegan options such as spiced mushrooms or black beans. Our sample menu has more ideas.

Do you have vegan options?

Of course. Vegetarian and vegan fillings, such as spiced mushrooms or black beans, can be part of the menu, served alongside the meat options.

How long are you on site?

We get there well before service to set up. The length of service is agreed when you book.

Can you do gluten-free food?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.

What if the weather’s bad?

Rain doesn’t generally stop service from the truck or trailer. It’s worth planning a covered area for guests, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.

What we need at the venue

If a space is not suitable, we’ll tell you. What matters most:

  • Vehicle access near the bar
  • Some distance from houses and neighbours
  • The venue’s permission for an outside bar

Canons Park is in London, inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, which covers all of Greater London, and parking can be tight: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly.
