The margarita is the star of the bar: lime, tequila and orange liqueur, served cold. For product launches and client events and engagement celebrations, we can serve soft drinks, aguas frescas and Mexican beer and more.

In a rural spot like Flansham, drinks can be served from our truck or trailer in a garden, field or by a marquee, as long as we can get in. We will go through the licensing with you. Planners, venues and businesses

If you are planning an event on someone’s behalf, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we will work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.

Throwing a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about access, and we’ll let you know if it is a good fit.

Is Mexican bar hire right for your event?

Bring-your-own is simple but uneven. A staffed bar means everyone is served. Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you can choose what you need.

Flansham: your questions answered

Do you cater at coastal events near Flansham?

We can, given firm ground and the landowner’s permission. Beaches and promenades typically need the council’s agreement, so check that first.

Could you serve in The Brooks Local Nature Reserve?

Only if the landowner, often the council, allows it. Check with them, and we will provide what they ask for from us.

Do you serve responsibly?

Our bar staff serve responsibly: under-18s get alcohol-free drinks only, with water and alcohol-free choices on hand.

Is there something for non-drinkers?

There are always alcohol-free options, including aguas frescas and soft drinks.

Can you do gluten-free food?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we check every dish and give allergen information.

What’s on the menu?

We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings could include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. Our sample menu has more ideas.

Do you provide drinks?

Yes. Our drinks bar can be booked on its own or with food, with alcohol-free options such as aguas frescas. We’ll check the licensing for alcohol with you.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

Ask us when you enquire. Let us know what you already have, and we will set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.

Flansham: venues, access and licensing

Flansham is about 2 miles north-east of Bognor Regis, in West Sussex. We bring Mexican bar hire to homes, gardens and venues in Flansham and nearby villages. Flansham is one of 371 places in West Sussex we cover. Our nearest city page is Brighton, about 22 miles away.

If the service is at a church such as Bilsham Chapel, the bar would be set up at the reception venue rather than the church. Anyone leaving the car at home will want to know that Barnham station is about 1.9 miles away. Drinks by the sea could work, as Flansham is within about 3 miles of the coast. Licensing on the seafront needs checking, and we will do that with you.

Anywhere in PO22, we can bring the truck or trailer to your guests. Neighbouring places where we cater events include Bilsham (1 mile east), Lidsey (2 miles north-west), Shripney (2 miles west), Yapton (2 miles north-east) and Barnham (2 miles north). Margaritas

Margaritas suit a summer evening.

Mexican beer

Cold beer and tacos go together.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, with allergen information for every dish.

Planning the serving area

Access is the first thing to check for a truck or trailer. We look for:

  • Access to unload close to the bar spot
  • A clear area in front of the bar
  • A premises licence or a Temporary Event Notice in place

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think before booking.

Popular choices

  • Fruit aguas frescas
  • Soft drinks
  • Mexican beer
  • Margaritas
  • Horchata
  • Agua de jamaica (hibiscus)

The process

We need a level, firm spot we can drive the truck or trailer onto, with power and water arrangements agreed beforehand. Send us a photo of the space if you are unsure. At midsummer, it’s light in Flansham until about 9:20pm, ideal for drinks outdoors. By late September, sunset is about 7:05pm, and in December it’s dark by about 4:00pm, so plan lighting around the bar.

  1. Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
  2. We talk through licensing with you.
  3. You choose the drinks with us.
  4. Our bar staff serve your guests at the agreed times.
  5. We clear the bar at the end.

How to prepare

  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day
  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
