Planning an event in The Hummicks?

Should I do it myself?

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Mexican bar hire in The Hummicks, from our food truck or trailer

The margarita is the star of the bar: lime, tequila and orange liqueur, served cold, with or without a salted rim. It works well for mexican-themed parties and end-of-year and Christmas parties, serving aguas frescas, agua de jamaica and alcohol-free drinks.

For a country party near The Hummicks, a drinks bar in a garden or field sets the mood. Tell us about the ground, gates, power and water. We serve from the hatch of our truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

How the day works

Once service is over, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. A late-September party in The Hummicks loses the light at about 7:10pm, so margaritas after that will be served under lights. A late-May event keeps its daylight until about 8:55pm.

  1. Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
  2. We go through the licensing with you.
  3. We agree a drinks menu.
  4. We serve drinks responsibly on the day.
  5. We pack down when the bar closes.
