Mexican party catering in Arlington, served fresh

You get to be a guest at your own party: no shopping, no cooking and no washing up of pans. We take care of the food. Popular choices include quesadillas, loaded nachos and guacamole and salsas, which works well for graduation and exam-results parties and leaving dos and retirements.

Country parties near Arlington suit a food truck or trailer: served fresh from the hatch in a garden or field. Plan a gazebo for guests in case of rain. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.

How the day works

When we arrive, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. Service starts at the time we’ve agreed, planned around your event. A summer party in Arlington stays light until about 9:15pm at midsummer, so a garden party can run well into the evening. By late September sunset is around 7:05pm, so plan festoon lights for later parties.

  1. Send us your date, address and numbers.
  2. You get a menu and a quote.
  3. We check access and arrive before your guests.
  4. Food is served from the hatch or the taco bar.
  5. We clear our area when service ends.

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: see how many tacos per person. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

  • Some distance from houses and neighbours
  • Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking

Throwing a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about access, and we will let you know if it’s a good fit.

Questions from Arlington

We’re having a ceremony at The Parish Church of St Pancras: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.

Which station is closest to Arlington?

Guests can use Berwick (Sussex) station, about 1.2 miles west of Arlington.

Do you do margaritas?

Yes. Our drinks bar can be booked on its own or with food. We’ll check the licensing for alcohol with you.

Can you cater for special diets?

Yes. There are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests. We give allergen information for every dish.

Do you come to Arlington?

We do. We serve at events in Arlington and across East Sussex. Send us your date to check availability.

How much space do you need?

The main things are access and a level spot: a level spot to park, space for guests to queue and a little room for a serving table. Send us a picture and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.

Can you keep it mild?

It is up to you: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.

Can you plan for allergies?

Our menus are planned with allergies in mind, nut allergies included, and give allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we can’t promise anything is completely allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.

  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
