  • Measure your gate or driveway
  • Include at least one vegan filling
  • Count adults and children separately
  • Tell us about any severe allergies before the party

When you are ready to eat, we start serving.

Ask us about plates, cutlery and serving staff, and we will confirm what’s possible with your quote.

About our Mexican party catering in Spitalfields

A Mexican party takes the food off your hands without turning the day into a formal dinner. Our food truck or trailer parks up and we serve hot food as the party goes on. It works well for milestone birthdays and new-home celebrations, serving burritos, a build-your-own taco bar and quesadillas.

Planning a London party in Spitalfields? A food truck means no cooking for you, and can work at a hired venue, a courtyard or a home with a drive. Mention parking bays and permits. You can book food, drinks or both, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

How the day works

Service is quick and friendly: we serve from the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. When service ends, we pack down. December parties in Spitalfields are dark from about 3:55pm, so plan lighting where guests queue and eat. In late June, it stays light until about 9:20pm.

  1. You tell us the date, the address, guest numbers and any diets.
  2. We suggest a menu and send a quote.
  3. We confirm access, parking, power and water.
  4. On the day we set up and serve hot food at the time you choose.
  5. After serving, we tidy up and leave you to celebrate.

Getting ready for the day

  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
  • Tell us when you want service to start
  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site

Ask for a quote

Not sure what you need yet? That’s fine: tell us about the occasion and the guests, and we’ll suggest a menu. When you’re ready, send us your details through our quote form.

Before you choose a spot

No two venues are the same, so we ask about the space before we confirm. In general, we need:

  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
  • Some distance from houses and neighbours
  • Clear vehicle access: gate widths, height limits and the ground checked before the day

In Spitalfields, as everywhere in Greater London, the ULEZ applies and kerb space is limited. Where will the truck or trailer stop? A drive, a courtyard or a suspended bay can all work.

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise before you book.

For planners, venues and organisers

If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We’ll provide the information the landowner or council asks for from us.

Organising a club, school or community event in Spitalfields? A truck or trailer serves a crowd quickly, with options for most diets. Tell us about the event and we’ll suggest a menu.

Is Mexican party catering right for your party?

Unlike a barbecue, there’s no waiting for the next batch, and nobody is stuck at the grill. When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.

Why book with us

  • Everything served fresh from the hatch
  • Menus for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests
  • Menus chosen with you
  • Allergen information for every dish

Questions from Spitalfields

Where would you park in Spitalfields?

London parking needs planning: let us know about permits or off-street space. Some streets may need a parking suspension from the council, and all of Greater London is inside the ULEZ.

We are having a ceremony at Christ Church: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Can you cater in a back garden?

That depends on access. If the truck or trailer cannot reach the garden, a drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission. Send us a picture and we will talk it through.

Do you cover Spitalfields?

Yes. We cater across London and the South East, and Spitalfields is within our area. For a quote, fill in our quote form.

Do you need electricity?

Tell us what the site has, for instance a supply from the venue, and we’ll confirm the arrangements with your quote.

Can you keep it mild?

We can keep it mild, and hotter salsas go on the side for guests who like heat.

Can you park at my house?

Normally, if there’s firm, level ground and a way in that is wide and tall enough. Send us a photo of the space.

Is the food suitable for children?

Yes, children are easy to plan for. Let us know numbers and ages, and we’ll plan the menu with them in mind.

Why choose Mexican party catering in Spitalfields?

Every plate goes out hot.

We can help if you’re planning any of the following:

  • Birthday parties
  • Family get-togethers
  • Exam-results parties
  • Summer garden parties

Around Spitalfields, historic houses include Mansion House (0.7 miles west) and Dr Johnson's House (1.4 miles west). Grand settings like these often have strict rules on outside caterers and vehicles, so for most parties a garden or hired hall is simpler.

What your quote should include

  • How bad weather is handled
  • Whether VAT is included
  • Exactly what’s included in the price
  • The deposit and payment dates

Our caterer checklist

Can I do a taco night myself?

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: see how many tacos per person. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.
