Mexican street food for Wembley events

Mexican street food for your event in Wembley

One Mexican trader covers several diets: there are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, with corn tortillas. That makes your food line-up easier. We serve tacos, burritos and quesadillas, and it suits school and charity events and community days.

In Wembley, a taco truck suits street parties and school fairs, once permissions are sorted. You can book food, drinks or both, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

Planning the serving area

Access is the first thing to check for a truck or trailer. We need:

  • Details of power, water and waste arrangements
  • Room for the truck or trailer and customers
  • A pitch with space around it, away from tents and structures

In Wembley, as everywhere in Greater London, the ULEZ applies and kerb space is limited. Where will the truck or trailer stop? A drive, a courtyard or a suspended bay can all work.

If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think before you book.

FAQs for Wembley

Is parking a problem for events in Wembley?

It can be tricky, so tell us about parking bays, permits or a driveway. A parking suspension may be needed, and the whole of Greater London is inside the ULEZ.

Do you come to school fairs around Wembley?

We can, as long as the school agrees and the truck or trailer can reach the pitch. Tell us the date, the site and roughly how many visitors you expect.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

We confirm that with your quote. Let us know what the venue supplies and we’ll talk it through.

What documents can you send?

Send us your list.

Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

Yes. Vegetarian and vegan fillings, such as spiced mushrooms or black beans, can be part of the menu, served alongside the meat options.

Can guests build their own tacos?

Yes, a taco bar is one of the ways we serve. Let us know your numbers and space and we’ll recommend how to serve.

Who clears up?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Tell us the venue’s rules on waste and clearing up and we will confirm the arrangements with your quote.

Do you need power and water?

It depends on the event and the set-up, and we agree power and water with you before the day. Let us know whether there’s a supply near where we’ll park.

Planners, venues and businesses

If you’re planning an event on someone’s behalf, whether you’re a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we will work directly with you and the venue. It keeps things simple.

If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can check the date.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

Perfect for your event in Wembley

It’s food people already know and want, so the stall trades steadily.

A truck or trailer works for big and small events alike. Typical bookings include:

  • Race days and sports events
  • County and country shows
  • Feeding crew and volunteers
  • Community days

Thanks to the A404 and A4088, we can bring the truck or trailer to Wembley without fuss.

How to compare caterers

Catering for every guest

Allergies and diets are taken seriously. Help us by following these steps:

  • Give traders a single information pack
  • Plan seating near the food area
  • Plan for vegan and gluten-free visitors
  • Agree waste arrangements with traders

We serve from the hatch throughout trading hours, made to order.

Bowls as a gluten-free choice.

Why choose Mexican street food in Wembley?

Not every trader covers vegans and coeliacs. We can serve vegan fillings and corn tortillas. Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there is no kitchen to hire. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Why us?

  • Quoted for your event
  • Options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests

Step by step

Once service is over, we pack down and clear our own area. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. Late-September events in Wembley see sunset at about 7:05pm, so later trading needs some lighting. Organisers should plan that into the site layout.

  1. You send us the event, the dates and the pitch details.
  2. You get our stall menu, what we need at the pitch and the paperwork you request.
  3. On the day, we arrive in the set-up window and get ready to trade.
  4. We cook to order and serve through the agreed trading hours.
  5. We pack away and leave the pitch tidy.

Preparing for the day

  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
