Our Mexican catering in HP5

The menu starts with tacos: warm tortillas with your choice of fillings, plus fresh salsas, guacamole and toppings. We can add burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas. It works well for weddings, day or evening and engagement celebrations, serving burrito bowls, loaded nachos and tacos.

On the day, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. Service starts at the time we’ve agreed, planned around your event.

  1. It begins with the basics: your date, venue, guest numbers and dietary needs.
  2. You get a suggested menu, with fillings agreed with you, and a quote.
  3. Together we confirm where the truck or trailer will park, plus power and water.
  4. On the day we arrive, set up and serve hot food from our truck or trailer.
  5. After service, we clear away and leave the spot tidy.

Parts of HP5 are within a few miles of the Chilterns National Landscape, where some venues have extra rules about vehicles and catering.

Chesham: For a christening or wedding at a church such as Emmanuel, a food truck at a garden or venue nearby is an easy way to feed everyone. Catering for every guest

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. Our advice:

  • Ask the venue whether food trucks are allowed
  • Count children separately
  • Flag anyone with coeliac disease
  • Guests with serious allergies should speak to us in advance

On the day, we arrive in good time to park up and get ready. All we need is someone to show us the agreed spot.

Common questions in HP5

What can we choose from?

Tacos and taco bars, plus burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas. Our sample menu has more detail.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

Ask us when you enquire. Tell us what your venue provides, and we’ll set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.

Can you come to a private house?

It depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Tell us about the space and we’ll advise.

What happens if it rains?

We can keep serving from the truck or trailer in the rain, but your guests will want somewhere covered, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.

How long are you on site?

We get there well before service to set up. The length of service is agreed when you book, along with pack-down.

Do you need power and water?

That depends on the set-up, and we agree power and water with you before the day. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

Can you cater for children?

Yes, children are welcome. Tell us how many and roughly how old, and we will suggest mild options.
