Our Mexican catering in ME4

We plan each menu with the client, with fillings such as slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, alongside vegan choices such as black beans or spiced mushrooms. On the menu are burrito bowls, loaded nachos and a build-your-own taco bar, and it suits big birthday celebrations and staff parties and office lunches.

On the day, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. Service starts at the time we’ve agreed, planned around your event.

  1. You tell us the date, the venue, rough guest numbers and any dietary needs.
  2. You get a suggested menu, with fillings agreed with you, and a quote.
  3. Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
  4. We arrive, set up and cook to order, with salsas and guacamole made fresh.
  5. Once everyone has eaten, we tidy our serving area and head off.

Cost

Luton: Thinking of an event in Gillingham Park? Public parks generally need the landowner’s permission for a food truck, so check first. Organising for someone else?

Questions from ME4

How does mobile Mexican catering work?

We park our food truck or trailer at your venue and serve hot Mexican street food from it. A build-your-own taco bar is another option.

Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect, and we’ll keep their options separate.

What if the weather’s bad?

Rain does not generally stop service from the truck or trailer. It’s worth planning a covered area for guests, and tell us if heavy rain could make the ground soft.

What’s on the menu?

We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings could include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. See our menu for ideas.

Are plates and napkins included?

Please ask us. Let us know what you already have, and we’ll confirm what’s included with your quote.

Do you have gluten-free options?

Yes, we offer gluten-free options, using corn tortillas. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we can talk through how their food is prepared. See are corn tortillas gluten-free?

What if it rains?

We serve from the truck or trailer whatever the weather, but guests will need somewhere covered to eat.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
