About Mexican catering in SW19

You can keep the menu short or make it a feast: a taco menu, or tacos plus loaded nachos, quesadillas and burrito bowls. Our Mexican drinks bar can be added too, with licensing checked with you. It works well for big birthday celebrations and festivals, fairs and markets, with tacos, a build-your-own taco bar and burrito bowls.

Once service is over, we pack down and clear our own area. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue.

  1. Contact us with the basics: when, where and how many.
  2. Expect a suggested menu and a quote.
  3. Closer to the day, we confirm timings and arrangements.
  4. We serve hot food from our food truck or trailer at the agreed time.
  5. We pack away when service is over.

Planning a food truck in SW19

Across SW19, we cater in 3 towns and 1 villages and hamlets, so whether your event is in Wimbledon, Putney and Colliers Wood or a quiet village, the approach is the same: a level, firm spot, a way in and agreed timings.

Wimbledon: By rail: Wimbledon station is in Wimbledon itself. If you’re organising a summer fair for a school like Wimbledon High School, a taco truck can be a crowd-pleaser. Winter evenings in Wimbledon close in by about 3:55pm, so choose a spot where guests can see what they’re ordering. At midsummer, the light holds until around 9:20pm.

The menu, item by item

Quesadillas

Tortillas filled with melted cheese and a filling, toasted until crisp, cut into wedges.

Tacos

Street tacos are small, quick and full of flavour. We serve them with salsas and toppings, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests.

What Mexican catering costs

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, depending on:

  • Food, drinks or both
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • How many staff you need
  • The number of people

Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so share your ideas with us. We will suggest options to suit your budget.

Details that help

To speed things up, tell us:

  • The address or venue name
  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • Your menu ideas

The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: venue, timings, menu ideas and access. When you’re ready, use our quote form.

Planning the serving area

Access is the first thing to check for a truck or trailer. We need:

  • Space for a taco-bar table if you’ve chosen one
  • A route in that’s wide and tall enough, with soft ground checked in advance
  • A spot away from buildings, windows and neighbours

Working with your venue

Hosting a party at home? Send a photo of the space and tell us about access, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll explain how it works. We’re happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

Planning for every diet

Nearly every event has some special diets. To cater well for them:

  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP
  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Plan a vegan filling as well as a vegetarian one
  • Confirm allergies by email before the event

We work around your timings, and adapt if they move.

A tray of loaded nachos works well to start or as a late snack.

Questions from SW19

What space do you need?

Tell us about the venue and the way in, and we’ll confirm what we need. Space for a queue and, if you choose one, a taco-bar table helps too.

What are your prices?

There is no fixed price list, as each event is different. Tell us your numbers and plans and we will send a quote for your event.

Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?

Yes. A build-your-own taco bar can be served from the truck or a serving station, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from.

Do you serve in the rain?

We can still serve in the rain. Have somewhere covered ready for guests.

Do you have vegan options?

Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Tell us your numbers when you ask for a quote.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Truck and trailer service normally suits around 50 to 400 guests. Smaller parties are quoted case by case, and festivals can be larger. Tell us your numbers.

Do you give allergen information?

Our menus are planned with allergies in mind, nut allergies included, and give allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we can’t promise anything is completely allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
