How Mexican catering works in W9

Every menu is agreed with you, so fillings might include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, and vegan options like spiced mushrooms or black beans. On the menu are burritos, tacos and quesadillas, and it suits weddings and evening receptions and summer garden parties.

The truck or trailer tends to draw a crowd, so we will help you choose a spot with room for a queue. Rain doesn’t generally stop us serving, though guests will want somewhere covered to stand or sit.

  1. Get in touch with the basics: when, where and how many.
  2. We come back with menu ideas and a quote.
  3. Nearer the date, we go over the final plan.
  4. At the agreed time, service starts from the truck or trailer.
  5. When you’re done, we pack away.

Taco catering in W9: local guide

W9 covers everything from City of Westminster, Kilburn and Westbourne to 0 small villages and hamlets, and a food truck or trailer can work in all of them, given access. In towns, plan parking and loading; in villages, tell us about lanes, gates and ground.

Maida Vale: Reaching Maida Vale by road is easy for us, thanks to the A404. If you are celebrating after a service at a church like St Peter Elgin Avenue, a truck or trailer parked at a hall or garden close by can serve the meal. Evenings in Maida Vale stay light until about 9:20pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm. For anything running past sunset, think about lights near the hatch.

For planners, venues and organisers

For repeat events, such as annual staff parties or seasonal fairs, let us know your dates early, so we can plan ahead.

Wedding planners and venue coordinators are welcome to contact us directly, and we will keep everyone informed on the day.

Dietary needs and planning tips

We cater for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests. To get it right:

  • Ask guests about diets and allergies with your invitations
  • Give us separate numbers for children
  • Tell us what other food is being served
  • Have a covered area ready in case of rain

On the day, we arrive in good time to park up and get ready. Someone from the venue just needs to point us to the agreed spot.

Quesadillas are a good choice for children and cautious eaters.

Should I do it myself?

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

What Mexican catering costs

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • The menu you choose
  • Food, drinks or both
  • What the venue already provides
  • Timings and hours

A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there is no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.

Getting an accurate quote

Good planning starts with a few facts. Try to include:

  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • The date and rough timings
  • The address or venue name
  • A photo of the space, if it is a garden or field

The quickest way to a quote is to tell us about it on our contact page. Tell us about your event in W9, and we’ll put together a menu and price.
