Our Mexican catering in NW3

Mobile Mexican catering means the kitchen comes to you: our truck or trailer parks at your venue and we serve hot food straight from the hatch. No kitchen is needed on site. We serve burritos, fresh salsas and guacamole and loaded nachos, and it suits markets and community events and milestone birthdays.

We get there well before you want to serve, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table.

  1. First, send us your date, venue, numbers and any diets we should know about.
  2. We put together a menu around your guests and quote for it.
  3. Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
  4. On the day we arrive, set up and serve hot food from our truck or trailer.
  5. When service ends, we pack down and clear our area.

Catering events across NW3

NW3 covers everything from Hampstead, West Hampstead and Kentish Town to 1 small villages and hamlets, and a food truck or trailer can work in all of them, given access. In towns, plan parking and loading; in villages, tell us about lanes, gates and ground.

Hampstead: For a christening or wedding at a church such as St John-at-Hampstead church, a food truck at a garden or venue nearby is an easy way to feed everyone. Reaching Hampstead by road is easy for us, thanks to the A1 and A502. Around midsummer it stays light in Hampstead until about 9:20pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:05pm, so summer evening events are normally served in daylight. In December it is dark by about 3:55pm, so winter events need lighting around the truck and the queue.

Planning for every diet

A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Try these:

  • Have a covered area ready in case of rain
  • Tell us what other food is being served
  • Ask guests about diets and allergies with your invitations
  • Put any allergies in writing for us

We can still serve from the hatch if it rains, though guests need somewhere under cover to eat.

Loaded nachos make a good sharing starter or as a late snack.

Should I do it myself?

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

Prices and what affects them

Your quote will be clear. What affects it most:

  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • Guest numbers
  • How many staff you need
  • Timings and hours

Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed in your quote.

Getting an accurate quote

A few details help us give you an accurate quote. Here’s what to include:

  • Expected numbers
  • Where the event is
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
  • What power and water the site has

Each quote is tailored to your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we’ll check availability at the same time.
